For the record Aishwarys has blueish-green eyes - and they are NATURAL!!!!!
She has fairly good skin but like most women she breaks out occassionally .... she is not as perfect as the camera captures her but she have access to fabulous artists, stylists and designers around the world. Only the best, to the rest of the world she is beautiful as I'm sure she is! Beauty can be a blessing and a curse as you can see by the comments here!
i dont believe for a moment ash has had botox on her face i reckon she is blessed with good skin and most probably takes care of her skin and eats healthy and of course has makeup and beauty experts on hand

I'm sure you can also find other pictures on the internet as well. Even as a teenager she had brown eyes. So it's obvious, she wears contacts... she probably gets hers custom made & pays alot for them! In the above picture, her eyes are sooo damn Red from wearing contacts for too long... Yet, there are soo many articles, stating she is a blue eyed or green eyed beauty - Far from the truth!!! And as far as she goes, she wants all the Attention, so why would she publicly admit she wears contacts???
Katrina Kaif & Dia Mirza are both half Indian, even they don't have blue or green eyes! They have brown eyes, don't wear contacts, both are beautiful & don't seek the same kind of attention Ash seeks... If Ash was to walk around with her brown eyes, she'll blend in with all the other Bollywood stars with brown eyes.
Please everyone just stop arguing over this... Ash isn't going to admit to wearing contacts, she only cares about the attention. There are alot of other actresses & models who have natural beauty & she wouldn't be one without her fake eyes! It makes that much of a difference! Get over it!

Of course they're real. Even in the youtube videos and pictures where her eyes "look brown," they don't really; you can tell they're light. I'm an Ophthalmologist and have studied eyes and see eyes on a daily basis. One can easily tell whose eyes are real and whose aren't (you would be able to see the contact lense and spots of real eye color if the eyes were fake; also fake eyes are more opaque--real ones have depth in the color). Aish's are real. There are many Hollywood celebrities, Arab celebrities, European celebrities, etc who actually DO wear contacts, but you never see anyone discussing their eyes. Why? Because 1. People have a hard time believing someone like Aish can be this perfect looking--literally the epitome of beauty (although I must admit, I have seen even prettier Indians) and 2. People have very ignorant stereotypes regarding Indians. Indians have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. And contrary to what most people believe, Indians typically have light eyes (even the brown eye color within the Indian race tends to be a lighter shade of brown than, say, people from the Mediterranean and certain Spanish-speaking countries). And in case any of you are wondering, I'm half Brazilian and half Japanese. I have many Indian friends, though, and have travelled to India myself, so I'm quite familiar with how Indians tend to look.

wow, these people with negative comments about Indians , South Indians and Aishwarya rai certainly are ignorant, uneducated about the world which makes them- bigots, racist, judgmental, who don'ts study authentic materials on people and culture( other than their own)
I find them to ignorant, uneducated, jealous, etc because of the following reason :
1.) Either they haven't traveled to any place in the world and pretty much stay in their "pond" ( heard of the proverb "the frog in his pond sneers at the ocean" ). Travel broadens one's mind. Also these people don't read the right authentic materials. Reading enlightens you and educates you.
2.) For all those who have not traveled - A lot of Indians not only natural colored eyes but also beautiful natural skin with beautiful complexion and even skin tone. They have naturally beautiful hair whether it is straight or wavy.
Most of the Indians are immigrants just like almost all Americans ( real Americans are Native American. Others are all immigrants. Well, African American were forced into this land which is another story...). A lot of people from Middle east, Turkey, and Central Asia,etc ( Russia is also central Aisa) came to India for trade. Also, there have been many invasion. All these obviously mixed with the local Indians . That is why you see Indians in all colors- fair skin, tanned skin, dark skin, light eyes, dark eyes, oriental eyes, straight hair, wavy hair, curly hair.
So, obviously all these people who talk about Indian, Japanese or Chinese or this girl need to read up the history. Evidently your people have n knowledge about the world.
3.) Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Aishwarya Rai. In fact I do have more beautiful woman in India as well as world but in all fairness, she is beautiful and does have naturally green eyes . Just want people to know. I've been studying about eye color lately mainly because I noticed that a lot of light eyes seem to change color in different seasons. I've a friend with green eyes and I've noticed her eyes change from hazel to gray to green. When I ask her, she says she doesn't understand how and she said that this question has been posed to her by many people.

I would suggest these people who have negative comments - Read, travel and educate yourself. Don't be ignorant and generalize. There is another class of people who just rely on some unauthentic sources , instead researching the authentic sources. People who don't read or rely on unauthentic sources are lazy and might give some lame excuses...

come on guys take a break..cant u make out a difference in lense n real eyes??? eye color change with lighting n for some people based on climat n age. I know this coz my sister i law has brown eyes which at times look greenish n blusish. And this is a very old topic..people who try to come with reasons abt Ash should talk abt Priyanka's makeup n KAtrina's IQ which is negative!

don't like the nude lips, and absolutely detest her hair in every way possible! i hate when gorgeous people don't carry themselves right and ruin their beauty!
some ppl's eye colors do change upon moods .. many of our Irish-origin friends have said so. no big deal:

however, at times (i.e Pink Panther stint), she could have been wearing enhancers to make her eyes almost neon blue like. it's ok. no big deal. but yes, her eyes are a lovely green.. but read articles where it can seem grey to hazel too (lights, moods, eyeshadow affect how your pigments look on the whole).
finally, yes, if she did have black eyes, would she be so celebrated for her looks?? maybe not, her features were just about avg to below avg in 1994. but green eyes did ADD to her exotic appeal. against very Indian features she has/had, her green eyes just stood out and she looked/looks EXOTIC
that does not mean that brown or black eyes are less or more.. it's just that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. she's blessed with beautiful eyes...
I agree why the analyse about her eyes colour! No matter what colour it is, she has beautiful eyes. Just look at Jodhaa Akbar. It is shape and size of her eyes that it make it beautifl. Not the colour in mine opinion. It fit perfect.

her eye color is real.. there were very early articles praising her eye has going from grey to green (interviewers). also, she was asked to wear brown contacts in Taal and Choker Bali (in the latter film, she looked incredibly beautiful);; why would she wear brown contacts if her eye color is brown?
that being said, there are ppl with grey or green eyes who do wear enhancers sometime to make it more colorful (it does not look fake). Karisma used to wear blue on her grey eyes to make her seem warmer. she may have worn blue enhancers during her Pink Panther stint.. it seemed so.. but maybe not. so what?
look, she has her strengths and weaknesses in looks and talents like all the stars. but her green eye color is for real. she had said she inherited it from her paternal side. and finally, the spirit of the eyes is what makes it beautiful. there are beautiful eyes in blue, green, brown and black. so let's move on.
