Aishwarya wore a similar strapless white gown last year, thats Eva is wearing this year, still Eva refused it & claimed its a different designer Gucci who designed her outfit & not the one who did for Aish (Armani)

I live in the US and I can EASILY tell you that Eva is a HUGE TV Star that's very well known. Why do Ash fans think they need to put her down? It's obvious that Eva and Aishwarya are good friends and I don't think Ash would like you guys bashing her Cannes friend like this.

Oh and there's no way Eva is bigger star than Aish..Eva is just a TV star while Aish is a mega movie star...hugeeee difference!!! The only reason Eva is even that famous cuz DH is a American TV series..but don't forget it is just that...a TV series. Being from Bollywood it's amazing how Aish has has managed to achieve sooo much international stardom. Imagine if she was from the US or something!! I liked evas gown better since it was a one shoulder strap, ash gown was to low at the cleavage. like this year all her dresses its like her boobs are falling out.
Eva's dress is a one shoulder strap, and there are given the outfits from loreal to wear, there cant choose it, i prefer evas gown, she carried it off with so much of elegance and class, Ash is over acting and over posing, and please stop with that blowing kisses, and posing with one leg in front of the other.. i think ash is just desprerate to be there, i mean seriously year after year she must attend cannes, even if she does not attend iifa or other big awards back home in india, for some reason she always finds time to attend cannes, even when she is shooting.

Eva is a TV star, can not act, married to a very successful guy, known over the world only because she is in Hollywood.
Ash is a major international star, may be not so big in the US, but most people have heard about her, even without watching her movie. Ash can not act, but has charisma,certain IT factor and more fans, may be not western fans, but they are not the only humans, are they? Other people count too.
Ash was offered major starring roles in almost all Will Smith movies which she turned down, I wonder why ?
Ash was offered the role with Will Smith which Eva Mendes did and it made her a star. Ash was again offered the role with Will which eventually went to Charilze Theron. For last half a decade or so, Will Smith has been offering her roles which she is turning down. Big mistake, I would say.
So, yes , Ash has more recognition, more fans, more of a career, she was Miss World, etc etc. Compared to that Eva just has a TV show. Just because she is western, does not mean she is bigger!!
No one is copying anyone here. Eva and Ash both have horrible fashion sense and wear way too much make up. Without make up, both are nothing much to look at. All the dresses are given to them by designers anyway.
