Gosh, the woman is so hot and sexy. I don't believe she wants to look fairer. If so then c'mmon girl... u look super hot in that dusky look of yours. People in west die to have that color tone. I don't understand why some indians make it so big. Indian women are the most beautiful women in this whole world and their features are perfect. So i say, appreciate what you have guys and once again you are super sexy hot like Sushmita Sen.

Please get ur facts cleared....Ash has a real and natural fair and peaches complexion...and her eye colour iz exactly what it is greenish blue colour...which appears on the screen...and she never wears any contact lenses because of her natural God gifted beauty....The reason I am saying thiz being is bcoz she iz originally a Mangalorean (A small city in Karnataka) and people from this region are mostly vey light skinned and have greenish blue eyes (very similar to Europeans) until they speak native Indian Language they can easily be misunderstood to be europeans bcoz of their complexion and eye colour...Ash's both parents are very light n colour and her mum has a lighter eye colour. Though Ash has no contribution in her being classically beautiful..it's just that she iz genetically blessed....Similar to d Maratha and Tamilian Brahmins who are usually very very light in Complexion....So please readers before criticising sumone...plzz plzz get ur facts right....I knw this bcoz i hav so many friends and business associates from Mangalore region and almost all of them r very very fair skinned and hav different shades of eye colour, as such they cud be easily mistaken for being Europeans....I guess thizz myth abt Aishwarya Rai should now be cleared.....

I agree with the above comment. I have been wondering why her foundation didn't look right on her face during the desi boys events. Well, this article explains it now.

all coloured lenses have a big black pupil, it's constantly dilated. that's how you know it's fake.

not all contact lenses have big holes in fact only cheap lenses have big holes, custom made handpainted contact lenses are prepared according to the eye measurements look 100% like real eyes. have you seen Megan Fox's contact lenses? they look exactly like a natural eyes, no aishwarya is not the only women who have access to these kind of lenses most of hollywood wears these natural looking contact lenses or anyone who don't mind spending $1000.00 for a month can have these lenses.Aishwarya has to spend that kind to money to hide the truth about her brown eyes rest of bollywood actresses don't care so they just use disposable lenses beause they are not claiming to have blue eyes.

So whats this guys problem? Why did he get fed up? Why does it bother him so much if his client wants to look a certain way? Is'nt he getting paid for what he is asked to do? IF this guy quit his job for that its all but ridiculous.

He cant make everyone look the way HE WANTS THEM TO LOOK when in this industry. When it comes to being a makeup artist one has to consider the clients needs, occasion and attire etc so it all blends in well.

Each woman including you and me has a preference on how she wants herself and her skin to look. We are no judges to criticize Chitrangada for it.

OMG HAHAHA at the people Filmychica etc, "ashy-grey tone" has nothing to do with ashwariya, ash is a word to describe a greylike colour, that priyanka, bips and asin sometimes look like when they try to "whiten" themselves too much and it doesn't look appealing, they look good their natural glowy colour.

Even I doubt these remarks cause through the films and other shoots I notice that she is mostly her dusky self always. Which is beautiful - she is an extremely gorgeous woman with amazing features and her skin-tone only enhances her look. The M-A prolly has some personal issues with Chitra. And if she does ACTUALLY have such an issue a lot is to be blame unto the industry and society in general with their ridiculous expectations. But Chitrangada should show some strength by refusing to fall for all these crap. I mean I see Priyanka, Bipasha, Asin all bleaching their faces and painting themselves white (ashy-gray tone) and it's not appealing. Stick to your own tone.
