I don't entirely agree with you. I know that when i meet friends of friends and we come from india, we start to converse in hindi and urdu although don't get me wrong, we still converse in english but there is an addition of hindi too.

Could have been better

sunny leone can have more expressions & look better than deepika ... useless spider legs can't act!

Not at all impressive !!

dpad's accent itself is enough to make this movie irritating.

Wow. Deepika has improved sooo much. Of course, I say this as someone who doesn't have an issue with an Indian person having a deeply Indian accent in an Indian movie. She has a regional accent (and the region is India), so why does she need to change it? I think her tone is oddly high and she screeches at times, that is why her dialogue delivery turns out awful. But she was great here.

Also, I really don't see how Meera of LAK and Veronica of this movie are even remotely alike, tbh.

i think there are many things to criticize Deepika about, but surely her accent isn't one of them?? I find it really endearing that she is comfortable in her own skin, and doesn't try and ape another accent, all in the name of being 'aspirational'. Sure she probably would benefit from being more discreet about her relationships, but more power to her accent! Go girl! You are who you are! Moles, warts, accent and all!

the cocktail wikipedia page already has the entire plotline up, endings and all.

the only thing that can save this movie it witty dialgue - but judging by the this, not going to happen.

'to app hindustan se aay hai?' what a ridiculous line to say to a woman crying in a salwaar kameez.

I doubt it will work well :-(

have u noticed how in bollywood films, whenever two indian ppl meet in a foreign country like england, america, australia or spain...they IMMEDIATELY start talking in hindi? like in ZNMD...katrina just starts talking to farhan in hindi once he says he's indian, when they were conversing fine in english before... im sorry, but that just doesn't happen. i live in australia... and i don't go up to brown ppl and start talking in hindi. u talk in english. AND how do u know they speak hindi? they cud speak telugu...or tamil...or even be sri lankan. HOW DO YOU KNOW?! this is just so unrealisitic.
i realise my comment seems irrelevant and too pedantic :P but its just something i cudn't help but notice...it bothered me! haha

love deepika
too sexy and funny

PrincessRuchi's picture

Was so looking forward to the dialogue promos but as usual deepika's accent is a deal breaker. I also don't think this over sexed up Veronica n saif having a no strings attached sorta relation is goin to go down too well with desi audiences. Why cant they just have a simple n sweet friends cum love triangle.

deepika at her best ....exposing =/

nothing new!!....

pakaoo so similar to previous movie, Break ke baad, Love Aajkaal .. bored already.

Anonymous's picture

Looks/Feels/Smells like another variation of Salaam Namaste, Love Aaj Kaal, Break Ke Baad and other alike films. I wonder if DP and SK are sensing a pattern and hence similarity in the roles. Same thing: Yuppie couple/room mates not interested in the idea o f marriage, like live in relation, someone else comes along and reminds them that they love each other. Either this or some variation related to love for the 3rd person. No?

Anonymous's picture

This Imtiaz is always exploiting female sexuality. The girls are not REAL at all. Bogus characters.
One is a ridiculous sati savitri who strips just in time for songs.
Other is an over the top sex-pot who is all about no strings attached sex.
Conveniently they both fall head over heels in love with an undeserving 40 year old playboy .
ugh!
gimme a break.
