anon 9:26 - you're talking about bachchan's "free tourism campaign" like he's doing charity or something. he's close friends with narendra modi, no one does things for free or without perks. why are you calling raj thackeray an a-hole and leaving out bal thackeray, whom bachchan calls a father? when someone has buddies like modi and thackeray, that says a lot about them.
Well not evey Indian was part of this then why single out Bachchans. What have u done for ur country tht u blame others?? India is a v political country..its not easy to oppose politicians n live peacefully. where was entire Bollywood when A**hole Raj Thakery targeting Bachchans??? Bachchans made a freee school for girls n instead of appreciating them, there was bg argument of where it was made (as if UP is not part of India) Amitabh Bachchan is doing free tourism campaign for Gujrat and that speaks a lot abt him. some people do charity n dont speak abt it n some people do little n go ga ga over it (read Salman) but tht doesnt make them better than others
i dont understand how dia was a miss india. i mean she is superr pretty but she is really shortt! shorter than urmila who is wearing flats!!

Bigger stars like Bachchans cannot afford to be publicly supporting a cause such as this.....the poticians and their goons will make their lives miserable. Plus they might get more attention than the cause.
Its easy to join in publicly for the cause for the lesser known celebrities like Dia and Urmila.
What you are kidding. We need publicity in such cases. and talk about geeting more attention, he could write on blog or twitter to support the cause. Thing is he and his family and some othe "bigger'" star in your term are very selfish. they do not see any direct gain for theirself and family so they do not want make cogress unhappy. otherwise these bigger star beg for award for their bahu etc and never feel shame about getting publised.

The Bachchans are opportunist politicians and only act when there's something in it for them. They stayed silent when Thackerays were burning Mumbai over Shahrukh/MNIK. Salman hates Shahrukh but even he spoke up against the thuggery. The Bachchans worship Bal Thackeray, you can expect that sort of 'deshbakhti' from them.
Dia "perfected her makeup and look?" What are you on about? She looks as casual as can be, don't be biased. Hardly has any makeup on and even her hair isn't straightened and looks frizzy tied back loosely.

I read about Hazare and the support he received in the news yesterday and I'm so inspired by all the happenings.
I must say good job Indians and all the best. This might not eradicate corruption but it's a significant step.
