Despite having proven her mettle as an actress at the BO, she is still counted among the newbies in B-Town. But that isn’t stopping this self-proclaimed diva from taking digs at her senior actresses. On sets, she is often spotted entertaining her co-stars with imitations of her seniors. But these are not their reel dialogues that she rattles off, but real ones. Most recently, she was seen making fun of the accent of this actress who seriously does need diction classes. Not that her imitations were off the mark, but several noticed that it was done in a bad light, even though that always managed to entertain her co-stars. Anyways what she does off screen has always gotten her more attention than her screen appearances. But one from her own close set of friends reveals that while she pooh-poohs all competition from among her own peers, she does keep a close check on who is doing what, not only those of her age, but the seniors too. “She never shows it, but she is actually quite insecure about her own self. She’s constantly been spoken about for her weight issues, and that’s why you will never see her partying often where shutterbugs would get a chance to compare her with other Bolly actresses. She feels extremely conscious in front of them. But when she is on her own, she’s forever throwing around her attitude and behaving like she is least bothered by others, when the fact is that it’s her insecurity that makes her want to make fun of them,” says a close source. Well, like unit hands who were witness to her imitating the others, point out that if she showed that much talent on screen too, she would be considered a better actress that what she is credited for today. May be, the gal should pay heed to this advice.
