OMG!! I love these! So nice to see the covers from the past....please post some more if you can find them. It's absolutely incredible to see these stars when they were young. It also makes me shudder to think what I will look like when I get old (you know comparing Hema's pic from then and now)

fmlreally's picture

Wow. They look so great. Hema is staggeringly beautiful.
Haha. In 1985, print magazines got away with cover stories like 'wet dream'. Lol. :D

Mandakani was kept for days by a underworld don in mumbai who raped her and later she got married to him, now she lives in Dubai, thats whay i have been told.

Anonymous's picture

wow, that's a cover no skin showing like nowadays, just simple love the cover of rekha and rishi

Shristi's picture

Wow, such natural and simple covers not like what we have nowadays!
Looking at Jaya Bhaduri then is like looking at Abhishek, looking at Rakesh Roshan is like looking at Hrithik, looking at Rishi Kapoor is like looking at Riddhima.
Hema looks gorgeous (as usual) and so does Rekha and Mandakani is just beautiful! Where is she these days??

Anonymous's picture

OMG look at rekha she is truly beautiful without photoshop

Anonymous's picture

Sweet post. Afrada i think that is rakesh roshan...they all lookin really good, cant pick one as FAV.

smitag's picture

wow hema looks amazing. yes thats rakesh roshan....the mandakini white saree cover is a little adult no?

Anonymous's picture

yeah, this is a great post-- something new to look at. It's amazing that those we consider perfect icons like Aishwarya, Madhuri, Rekha and Sridevi also started as pre-swans (lovely pre-swans.. but not their final star aavatar). Maybe except for Madhuri who was always looking the same & pretty-- the other three 'evolved' in their looks, and improved so vastly over time -- be it with surgery, makeup, fashion, image-movement, accents.. whatever.

Rekha looks amazing - HOTTT

Anonymous's picture

like they say Old s Gold.............

afrada's picture

Wow!!!!! Really cool post! Rekha looks so different but still gorgeous as ever. Btw whoz the guy in the second one???? Rakesh Roshan???
