exaggeration much? Indians come in all skin colors fool. from really, really, dark to even pale and everything in between. It also can vary depending on the region you're in. Just because were not a homogenous nation doesn't mean you have you have to try to find some way to pigeonhole us in having one skin color. We are quite diverse, just visit the four different corners of India and you will see that.

I didn't even notice that she looked white but leave it to Indians. This is a very desaturated shot, it is normal for her to look lighter, even her mother does. Bloody Indians, she only told the truth, suck it up. She looks like her normal skin tone in live shots. Can you say the say about Aishwarya? She is blindingly white even in daytime shots, and lies about not endorsing skin lightening products. She only celebrates the problem that is prevalant in India and makes money off it. This you people will admire and will try to tear down someone who only told the truth. Really shameful and disgusting.

why is everyone complaing about Freida Pinto being White ? maybe it's because she complains about indian being white wannabes when they aren't . She shouldn't generalize an entire nation. She is unrecognizable in the photos , even this one. So when she promtoes loreal products , she is promoting fair skin being a good thing. She s a hyopcrite. She supports the fact that they do this . And about Bollywood , they are not the only ones who do it. Hollywood does the same thing . They lighten all of their colored actors , so why does she pick on one industry? Another thing her acting is very bad , so she is a colored lady and a bad actress , How does she plan to stay in Hollywood ? Has she thought that she will not be the poster girl anymore at some point ?

The images are very beautiful and dreamy and I think they are wonderful captures of the mother and daughter.
You can totally see the love her mom has for her. In no country in the world have i encountered such an obsession for skin color and hatred towards darker people, a paradox, since 99% of Indians are dark.

Cashing in yet again. I have to give it to her, she certainly has great business sense with her aggressive self-promotion. And for anyone who wants to hate on this comment, any publicity is good publicity for an actress trying to make her way in Hollywood, sweeties. So even with something like this, in which she's promoting a good cause, it's still serving to further her career and boost her popularity. All she needs now is a reality series.

The soft white lighting is so Bollywood like from a karan johar or yash Chopra film.....
I prefer Freida in her caramal skin tone tho it really doesn't matter because it's her symmetrical features that make her beautiful. She's lucky she has very expressive eyes........in the immortals previews her I was amazed by her ideas.
