Special Screening Of Heroine Held For Veteran Bollywood Heroines
A special screening of Heroine, produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainment, was held at Ketnav in Mumbai on 18th September. The screening was done for the friends and family of actress and dancing legend Helen. Asha Parekh, Sangeeta Bijlani, Alvira Agnihotri, Salim Khan, Sadhana, Waheeda Rehman, Shammi Aunty and Salma Khan were also present at the screening.

Who's the lady, in between Asha Parekh (top) and Waheeda Rehman (bottom)?
Also, who are the two ladies in the middle (very last picture). I can only recognize Salim Khan and Helen. She's also seen posing alongside Sushila Charak (Salma Khan - mother of Salman Khan).

Glam factor portrayed in Heroine, the only veteran actress who could relate to it is Helen. The others did more sober roles.

I believe Heroine is based on Manisha Koirala and everyone knows this. Heroine is about a small town girl who makes it big, just like Manisha did in the 90's but she became a tabloid joke with all her affairs. She had an affair with Nana Patekar who was married with children at the time and refused to leave his family for her. She got messed up in the head and gets into drugs and alcohol. So far from what I've seen, Kareena does the part justice.
They will be reminded of how hard a Herione's life is, especially today with the media and new technology and lack of privacy. They will see how much dedication and hard work abs focus an actress has to put in her work.

yup, they will show how heroines go through casting couch and have sex with several men to push their careers, do drugs and all the nasty things a girls can think off...i think it's a lot of hard work;) im not saying all of them are like this but mostly are!
