-if you were to be talking about Devdas where she actually emoted and got into the skin of her character I would not disagree with you, but with Jodha Akbar she did not fare that well as an actress, she did not stand a chance against hrithiks character, besides all she had to do in the movie was look pretty. I think thats one of the main things that come in between her and her stardom. People cant get over her face, and she ends up taking that as a advantage. Looks do not substitute for talent. Look at Sonam and Katrina, they cannot act, they are just pretty faces.

Anon #1: Thanks but it did NOT take me anything to admit it because it's the truth. +I like Bebo and Lolo. Filmy kids like Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Uday Chopra can't hold a candle to the Kapoor sisters when it comes acting, the truth might be bitter but it must be said. Let's be real here, Bebo and Lolo give filmy kids a good name. The only problems arise (for me) when Bebo makes controversial comments in interviews/other media etc. Other than that she and Lolo are perfect.

I dont know about you, but the only place that knows aish exists is in England. Canada, and USA doesnt ever mention her. Ms. Pinto is the ruling Indian actress in North America, and she's slowly heading into Europe. And most of the time its not fans who dislike aish because they favor another actress, its fans who dislike aish because she does not seem like a "real" person. She is not someone that can be related to. Oh and the fact that her fans create a scene on every post thats created whether it talks about her or not puts people off even more.

Anyone who is unfamiliar with the definition of "generation" can google it. For example, Vrinda Rai and Babita Kapoor are of one generation. Their daughters Aishwarya and Kareena are of another generation. And Aishwarya's one year old daughter and Kareena's stepkids are from the next generation... hope that makes sense. Whatever you say,kareena and Ash both are extremely talented women and have long careers than anyone today and will definitely have longer careers due to their talents!Though im my opinion,Ash is much more talented,beautiful and a big international icon.They are very two different actresses.Kareena acts differently and Ash acts much differently from Kareena but both can convey emotions well.
For the ppl who wanna figure out how Ash would have performed in Heroine watch Sarkar Raj.She is fantastic there!The role is kinda similar to this role but much more subtle,powerful and grounded.Her performance shook me!! WOW!
