Aamir was never a drunkard at all! And those so called flings were rumours by some magazine which Aamir had banned! Aamir wouldn't speak to them & they'd publish trash about him. It was Reena who initiated the divorce citing irreconciliable differences.
It's not like Aamir dumped her. And he started seeing Kiran AFTER his divorce not before it.
Theirs was divorce with mutual consent. They're still okay with each other, respect each other & are present at each other's family functions. So what's the world's problems if Aamir & Reena are fine with each other?! And so are there kids!
Aamir's sister is also divorced. But Aamir's family gets along well with her ex husband - Raj Zutshi.

Aamir Khan apologists stop defending his dark past! Yes he divorced Reena for Jessica Hines, a British journalist and he even has an illegitimate child with her named Jaan Hines! And then he left Jessica for Kiran! A totally disgusting man who is now trying to clean his image up through Satyamev Jayate! Shame on you Aamir Khan by using three women like this, leaving your first 2 children with Reena and not accepting your illegitimate child with Jessica Hines! 3 of his children are now growing up without the love, care, and protection of their father!

reena initiated the divorce but it was due to something aamir did.. coz it has been mentioned how aamir used to drink quite a bit when she left him and also aamir mentioned how kiran is forgiving...

DO NOT infer with half-knowledge. Aamir was never a drinker. But he started drinking AFTER his divorce ( Dec 2002), and apparently did so for the next few months while he continued to be depressed about the break up of his little family. He missed the kids badly and would drink through the week, but sober up on weekends when his kids stayed with him. He is said to have met or renewed acquaintance with Kiran , possibly mid-late 2003 while Ashutosh-Aamir did their Cooca Cola ads together. Aamir-Kiran had been earlier acquainted during Lagaan shoot of 2000 and brief hellos on sets of DCH shoot in Goa, 2000 where Kiran worked temporarily. In fact during DCH shoot, Kiran reminded Aamir that her silver baalis had not been returned since he borrowed them for Lagaan shoot ( and he still hasn't apparently!) -- so Reena-Aamir promptly got Kiran a couple of silver earrings right there in Goa.
All this is there in the media--am not an insider, but a fan and follower of Aamir kahaani, that's all!

To all the people saying 'oh it's his ex wife' ,dude she was the host! Exploration was an art exhibition which showcased paintings made by reena,and all her paintings were sold out!

Reena wanted a divorce and in fact Aamir didn't know what to make out of it in the beginning as he wasn't expecting it. Even after their divorce, they have shared a really healthy relationship. They meet up, hang out and everything. Aamir and Reena are not bitter towards each other at all. It's really good to see people like this in the industry.

Wow, Reena's completely changed her image post divorce.
And sure Reena may have initiated the divorce, but it was well known that Aamir was having flings way before that, like he and Pooja Bhatt had a well publicized affair during Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, and maybe other flings too. So maybe she got fed up.

Let's not assume that Amir dumped Reema. She may have walked out on the marriage; not every woman is willing to put up with an unhappy marriage just because her husband happens to be rich and famous.
