I don't not support west girls from acting here, but I would like it if people behave modestly and not act so cunningly the way Kat does.. her flings, ungratefullness towards Sallu's help, rude behavior, and excessive demands and acting like Bwood industry's long standing families don't mean anything.. don't want ppl who do that.. she isn't the first foreign heroine to have worked in Bollywood, and she won't be the last..

I'm sorry to say but Indian women are some of the mose jealous women I've ever seen, especially when it comes to white women or half white women. And let's be honest, Bollywood is not about acting, especially when it comes to female actresses. It's about looking pretty and being able to moderalety dance. It's rare you see real acting parts in Bollywood movies. I'm not saying India doesn't have potential good actors, it's just that they are not given a chance in the mainstream cinema cos in Bollywood it's all about glitzy kitschy glamour. And they hire white/half white women because it's what the public wants to see, beautiful women that most men could never get and most women could never look like. Sad, but this is the reality. And even if you don't like it, it will continue to be so. Such girls will continue to have success in India and Indian actresses will still bleach and wear contacts and dye their hair to look more western. It's all about demand and supply.

I seriously hope that TOI or other newspapaers in India pick up on this and see the public reaction to this new Turquotte's in town !!!

We will love you more if u can say that "Yes I am a foreigner but I want to work in Indian movies". The respect and love automatically comes. We would be delighted that global citizens want to work in our film industry that means our industry is reaching out after all to a wider audience.

Why did Katrina have to change her surname to Kaif when clearly Turquotte's the name they have ad since they were kids !!!! Did she think she would not get accepted if she was Turquotte !!! Jackeline Fernandez never changed her name she is doing pretty good!! Pakistani actors come here to work all the time thye do not pretend to be Indian when infact they technically were Indians in the first place.

The kaif name was only given to katrina to make her name sound more indian. It was given by Ayesha Shroff(Jackie shroff's wife). Get your facts right before you write.

Indians have remarkably gorgeous features but its tragic that most of them have the dark skin bias. It sucks! And to all the girls here rambling on about how jealous people are of her..and how racist we all are..gimme a break! Take a look at any Hollywood scoop or gossip site and notice the racist comments towards girls of color. Now that's racism for ya! I remember reading this article on Padma Laxmi and there were a hundred crazy comments regarding her nationality, religion, her baby's name etc etc. This isn't..we're only sick of seeing talent less bimbos who's only qualification is "fair" skin and I wouldn't blame this on the white chicks. No, The fault is entirely ours. Rather, the majority of jerks out there who equate skin tone to beauty. Indians must not look down upon Africans either, I know a lot of exotic looking girls from out there and they're absolutely stunning. Fair or dark, the emphasis must be wholly directed on features.
