'Ishkq in Paris' release postponed yet again
'Ishkq in Paris', a film produced by Preity Zinta was initially supposed to release on September 21, 2012, which was later postponed to October 5, 2012, and again postponed to November 2, 2012. Taran Adarsh tweeted that it is postponed yet again. "'Ishkq In Paris' release date shifted ahead. Preity Zinta will announce the new date shortly.", he tweeted. Preity is playing the main lead in the film and it is regarded as her big comeback after a long break.

Whether the film does it well or not (although I want it to do well for Preity's sake). After all, absolute nonsense can make 100 crores and if this movie, if even 5% better than those, should be able to make some profit. Most of all, I hope Preity did a good job and more directors sign her. I miss her on screen.

Get well soon Prem Raj but still the film will do better business on DVD, digital downloads/on demand and in its cable/dish rights re-runs, I wish it the best at the box office but I don't see it doing huge business there at this point.

distributors are not ready to pick up this film. hence the delay.
and there are BIG movies lined up from November.. 1920, Luv Shuv tey Chicken Khurana, Jab tak hai Jaan, Son of Sardaar, Dabangg 2, Talaash, Khiladi 786.
it is really difficult for Ishkq in Paris to find distributors. especially since there is no big hero here and the actress in coming back after 4 long years and music has not done well either.
but really sad though, what happened to the director. wish him good health and strength to cope with father's death.

The film may or may not be "fresh" and we will know after we see it, but the title is outdated. I just don't like the chosen title. Wish they had selected a different one. A good title changes the vibe. Wishing the director a speedy recovery. Whatever be the anjaam (and this being only her first time), I hope this was a fruitful journey for Preity to have experienced and learned many useful things from this, and that's what really counts.
guys the editing and stuff is already done. the movie is ready for release. but there are no distributors for it.
and unfortunately the director of the movie is unwell at this time. wish him speedy recovery. so its all too much for Preity right now.

What the hell you guys? I just can't understand why you're all such negative nancies. It's her hard-earned money and time she's invested in this movie, and if she'd rather take time to present to you a better product - even if it's not the best - why the hell do you have a problem?
Are you guys having troubles in your own lives? Can you not hope for the best for someone else? Even if that is the case, get some help. And why can't you just be happy and hope everyone else does well for themselves too?

I don't really think it matters sheg to m has not been doing movies back to back. At least Priety is wanting to make sure the movie is well edited. There is nothing wrong with that. People are so impatient for no reason.

@bollywood lover, I can see why it's being pushed back. Although the shooting is complete, the director needs to be there through the editing process as well, and I'm sure, the editing part of film production can be quite strenuous.

The upcoming Preity Zinta film Ishkq In Paris has been delayed for quite a while now, though various speculation were made for this delay, we hear that its due to the director Prem Raj's ill health. In fact the 35-year-old Prem has been diagnosed with cancer of the gall bladder. This diagnosis has apparently sent the movie's post-production, and release completely off-track.
Prem who suffered a loss on Sunday with the demise of his father had been putting up a nonchalantly brave front for the past few months. While in fact he has been diagnosed with first stage cancer of the gall bladder.
Prem who was initially supposed to release the film on November 2 has delayed the film as he will be heading for a minor surgery. However, due to the personal loss he suffered in the past few days, the surgery has consequently been delayed. Though doctors who have been treating the director have claimed that since the cancer was detected in the first stage it is curable.
