Foes Or Friends? Sanjay Bhansali Visits Movie Theatre To Watch KJo's SOTY

That Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali do not share a very friendly relationship is common knowledge. The duo have entered into war of words over seemingly petty issues more than once. So much so that Sanjay chose to skip the poster launch of sister Bela Sehgal-directed movie 'Shirin Farhad Ki Nikal Padi'. The rumoured reason? Karan Johar was the chief guest.

Yet, this does not stop them from keeping track of their new releases. The past weekend saw Karan Johar come face to face with Sanjay Bhansali at a multiplex where Sanjay had dropped in to watch SOTY. TOI reports that Karan effusively greeted Sanjay and seemed happy that the acclaimed director of Black chose to watch his movie in a theatre.

The reclusive director of movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Guzaarish rarely visits theatres for watching a movie. Sanjay last watched movie in a theatre was November 2011 release Rockstar .

Was Sanjay checking out his bete noire's work? Or does Sanjay look forward to watching Karan's work even if they do not share a friendly rapport? Was Karan genuinely pleased to see Sanjay? Or was he forced to play a genial host? Indeed, strange are the ways of artistic and creative persons.
