Bodyguard Smashes All Records
Bodyguard smashed all records at the box office by collecting 38.50 crore nett in just two days on Wednesday and Thursday. It took a phenomenal initial and beat all earlier records by a distance. But the public reports are not as strong as the initial so Three Idiots or even Dabangg type lifetime business is ruled out though it will still emerge a huge grosser and amongst the top five of all time thanks to a mammoth total in its extended five day weekend. Bodyguard Overseas Numbers: Very Good Opening The film is looking at a $4.5-4.75 million (INR 20-21 cr) total over its extended six day weekend in the overseas market

This movie was mega awesome. No wonder it broke all the records. the reason for this is because people loved the movie therefore watched it again! Salman is the true star :) Love you salman!
The film got mostly positive reviews. I watched it and really liked it. The second half of the movie is a love story and has a twist at the end.
Salman's character was different as well. I think a lot of people think it was the same same character as Dabangg and Wanted but it's not. He plays a quite, shy person. I don't understand why people are thinking that the characters are the same.
I think it's definitely worth a watch. It's an entertaining film!
The film has smashed all the records for a reason..people like the film. It's as simple as that :)
I don't understand why such horrible movies become a hit. I watched the film and wondered how it is a hit. No special acting skills, not a great story, no catchy songs. What is it that has made it a hit ? And so many other good movies flop. The wonders of bollywood.
Bodyguard is not much amazing as Wanted! wanted was something else. I am salman's fan so i watched it i love salman, though this movie is quite filmy type. But u'll enjoy it alot esp 1st half of the movie. Salman is really sweet and hot can''t get enough of him. watch it guys. And that girl in yellow boots is worth a watch according to reviews.
i love salman and kareena both but damn this movie is terrible! I saw it on eid and was so pissed. Its the kinda roles salmans going for these days (like debang and ready).. to be honest im just sick of them! He's capable of soo much more. Such an overkill

Anyway, about this article... a 5 day weekend? That must be a record length of a "weekend" in all of Bollywood and even Hollywood! Well I guess that means that when SRK smashes all records he can make it a 6 day "weekend"! But the "weekend" shouldn't be any longer than that or else we'd have to call it a week! Hahaha...
@ Shmuck, I don't think bad reviews will affect the film, but yeah for the most part the reviews are baaad! It's actually kind of amusing and sad to read the reviews online and then read the volley of abuses that the reviewers must endure! In fact one reviewer said he would need a "bodyguard" after giving his (negative, of course) review about the film because he feared that it's impossible to say anything online against Salman Khan without facing repercussions! Hmmm...
