Early Filmfare Predictions!
The Filmfare nominations won’t be announced until January 2013, but people are already buzzing about who will make the cut. Of course many of the films that will vie for the prize have not yet been released so trying to figure out which films and performances will be recognized by the audience and jury at this point is probably the height of lunacy. Still, I can’t resist speculating on the acting nominees and which 6 films will be up for Best Film. Check out my predictions below and let me know if you think I’m completely nuts. Best Actor: Best Actress: Best Film: What do you think? Will the highly anticipated “Dabangg 2” make it in the Best Film Category ? Will voters remember Akshay Kumar’s “Rowdy Rathore?” Which of the upcoming low budget films will get noticed by the Jury? Will any of the “newcomers'' (Arjun, Ayushmaan) be considered for the acting nominations? And how many more actors from the upcoming movies will knock these guys out of the water?

hrithik and pc will win the awards for best actors...sonu nigam for abhi mujhme....song...i don't care about others.
I don't think Heroine will make it to best film category. It was a flop film and usually best film categories have hit films.
This year is very tough for best actress pole all the actresses have done good job, priyanka chopra:Barfii,
sridevi:english vinglish, vidya balan:kahanni, kareena kapoor:herion. but although lenghthy characters is having for sreedevi and vidya balan,PC having some what short role,so no matters short charac or lengthy charact. performance and expressions is important so priyanka chopra will deserves it.even once oscars also given best actress for half an hour role, so Best Actress:blindly we can say Priyanka Chopra.
Katrina should be off that list please

Best Actor (WINNER: Ranbir Kapoor, CRITICS: Irfaan Khan)
Hrithik Roshan - Agneepath
Hrithik definitely deserves a nomination this year for delivering yet another critical and commercially successful performance. The audience felt the pain he did as he seeked revenge. He didnt miss a beat, and as a result delivered one of the finest performances of the year.
Irfan Khan - Paan Singh Tomar
Definitely a surprising one, Irfaan pulled off a difficult role, and excelled to feats that I didn't expect from someone who isn't regarded as an A-list star. He definitely changed my perspective of him through his truly amazing performance and definitely deserves to be in the nomination list much more than the so called A-listers that produced trash this year.
Ranbir Kapoor - Barfi
His performance was outright awesome. The way he portrayed the deaf and mute character with such passion and ease was outstanding and brought tears to my eyes at the end of the film, a truly heartwarming performance by the up and coming legend of his era.
Shahrukh Khan - Jab Tak Hai Jaan
The romantic legend was right back in friendly waters with arguably one of his finest performances in recent times. He definitely gave 100%, though his counterparts let him down, and unfortunately the film suffered due to the lack of chemistry. However, kudos to him for being able to carry the film on his own.
Aamir Khan - Talaash
A subtle, yet powerful performance from Mr. Perfectionist Khan in 2012. Though I felt the movie was a little weak (I hated the whole supernatural part, and the fact that Kareena was "glowing" since her first appearance - little obvious, no?), Aamir did pull off a fine performance and should receive a slot in this year's nomination list.
POSSIBILITIES: Saif Ali Khan (Cocktail), Salman Khan (Ek Tha Tiger)
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELONG: Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan, Salman Khan (Dabangg 2)
Best Actress: (WINNER: Priyanka Chopra, CRITICS: Vidya Balan)
Vidya Balan - Kahaani
Though I found the film and her acting a little overrated, she did surprise me with a solid performance. A little predictable, yet she was able to keep me captivated for the full length of the movie and definitely proved herself as one of the strongest actresses in today's generation. Well done, Vidya!
Bipasha Basu - Raaz 3
In my opinion, Bipasha is one of the only actresses that can pull off a vamp/negative character from the new lot of actresses (barring PC). Her performance in Raaz 3 definitely deserves a nomination for her chemistry with Emraan, her awesome expressions and stunning avatar in the film. One of her career-best performances after Race and Jism.
Priyanka Chopra - Barfi
Undoubtedly, Priyanka's finest performance of her career. Only she could pull off such an amazing role with such elaan and beauty. A best actress for me is when it is unimaginable to see anyone else play her part, and Priyanka has definitely done that this year. Jhilmil is etched in my heart for being the sweetest, most innocent character. Truly, performance of the year by Chopra.
Kareena Kapoor - Heroine
I was so excited knowing that Bebo was going to work with Madhur, who brings the best out of his actresses, as we've seen in the past. Kareena was top notch in this film, from her hysteric antics, her piercing eyes, and her sensational detail in her emotions. The script and dialogue were an absolute let-down, however, it did help Kareena shine as the sole reason for the film to garner any cash at the box office. Kudos to her for carrying this heavy film on her beautiful shoulders (Extra points for looking ABSOLUTELY STUNNING)
Sridevi - English Vinglish
A highly overrated film and actress, however, she did do a decent job in portraying the role of a mother. She did not offer anything new to the table, nonetheless, she did evoke emotions in the audience and impressed critics everywhere. I personally did like the film, but not to such an extent. She did well, and to garner that much commercial success for a comeback film alone is enough to get her a nomination this year. Welcome back, Sridevi.
POSSIBILITIES: Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra
AN EMBARRASSMENT TO "ACT"RESSES (AND SHOULDNT BE INCLUDED):
Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Asin,
best actress, priyanka.
best actor, ranbir,
best film barfi/kahaani
