Did Kareena excel at period roles or action movies or real life stories? NO. All she did is hamming under the pretext of overacting. Farhan is praising her because he wants her to sign his next (called Dhruv or something).
Yes after SriDevi, Kareena Kapoor is the next versatile actress.
very true coming from a good, developing actor like farhan. and fyi kareena is doing DHRUV with farhan akhtar - sudhir mishra's film alongside chitragandha singh. sudhir mishra is a genius - chameli, hka and dhruv should be amazing as well,. this just basically is hinting that dhruv is back on schedule!!!

kareena is always first choice for most movie shes very picky so thats why farhan never had a chance to cast her..some pc lover below...as u know pc always took kareena left over movies and she thinks she successful.

u did n t get my point sri devi did female oriented roles,her dancing was good
she changed her looks acording to the chracter, so same is the case with kareena that does n t mean
that she is at the same level she has a long way to go and i know that
what i was trying to say that kareena kapoor is following the same path as sri devi she has said in her interviews
that she wants to follow the same path as sri did.

See, this is the thing with you silly fans. Can't you praise her without trying to put down another successful actor? What has Ash to do with this post? Reeks of insecurity. The fact that you feel the need to compare your idol to Ash itself tells how important Ash is to you guys. Same thing with Ash fans. I like both Ash and Kareena as actors (Ash a little more), but some of her fans stink as hell.

I made the comment after considering all those movies and also after having watched those movies......I am a movie buff...i follow movies and watch them and then only go on to make comments.......I truly believe its too premature too call her versatile....trying a hand at different roles and performing them with equal ease are not the same thing

kareena is overrated, in all honesty. There are much more versatile actresses than her as she always sticks to the same role. Heroine will be a true test for her.
Kajol and versatile? :\ All she does is that stupid KJo fluff movies. I can't differentiate her character in Kuch kuch hota hai or dilwale dulhaniya le jayenga or K3G. She does the SAME acting over and over.
Kareena is versatile. She can do most (not all) roles well. I also think Rani and Aishwarya are damn good and versatile. Name one genre (Except horror) that these two haven't acted in.
why people bringing rani and kajol in here, rani is great but kareeena is million times better then kajol anyone who knows anything about acting knows that all kajol does is piggyback on srk and kjo and play same old safe roles, kareeena on other hand can act the socks offff her and do it all on her own.

i like kareena's acting but i really only like her characters where acts bubbly and very happy. priyanka i feel is a much more versatile actress, she can do both comedy and dark roles perfectly. well, let's see how kareena performs in herione, it will truly test her acting and box office draw, a huge pressure on bebo and madhur indeed.
