RIVALS.Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor were known rivals. Their comments on Koffee with Karan only addded to speculations that they hated eachother. Apparently Kareen had quoted too high of a price for Kal Ho Na Ho. Kareena was upset when Karan chose Preity to take over as Naina. The film was one of the biggest hits of the year and made Preity the top actress. She won the Filmfare Best Actress award and contnued her success with films like Veer Zaara. Apart from this, Preity became one of Karan's favorite actresses and he cast her again in Kank.
Now that Kareena is at the top of her game, and Preity has nothing much going for her, they are seen togther in the song "Happening" for Main aur Mrs. Khanna
