Celebs in 'Shiksha ka Suraj' music video (A Literacy Drive campaign)
‘Shiksha Ka Suraj’ is National Literacy Mission’s Literacy Drive via Bollywood celebrities. The music video featuresd Anil Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Farhan Akhtar. The video of the literary anthem was released by E Ahamed, Minister of State for Human Resource.

Well its not about the people involved but the message.Do you think illiterate people will really care if Abhay Deol or Vidya Balan tells them to go to school? They can only relate to popular stars. Moreover its not like the stars here are promoting high end educational institutions, they are only promoting literacy and i am pretty sure they are all literate enough to do that.

Kareena is the dumbest here......SRK studdied economics at university...priyanka is smart even though she didnt finish college and she adds glamour....kareena is only glamour which is not needed as iit is already provided by Priyanka....Anil is a waste of space....Farhan is actually a smart film maker...even though he didnt finish college....Shabana is a smart woman...The kapoors are the ones AGAIN that need to get chucked off

It is bad on their part to take Kareena and Priyanka for this ad even though they are not completely educated just because they provide the glamour element. They should have taken Soha Ali Khan who went to Oxford university and Nandita Das and Vidya Balan who are intellectual actresses. And instead of Anil Kapoor it will be good if they choose Abhay Deol who is known as the intellectual actor. Farhan also dropped out of college and says it proudly in every interview so he is not a good role model for this campaign. Ranbir or Ranveer or Imran who studied in good universities in the US could have been taken instead.
