Shraddha Kapoor bags a Dharma Production!
Earlier this year, it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor had chosen to reject the offer to work with Arjun Kapoor in top production house YRF's film, Aurengzeb, for the Bhatts' Aashiqui remake opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor (of Action Replayy and Guzaarish fame) despite being warned by family and friends that this decision would not be wise.
Now we hear that she has bagged a big KJo production, to be directed by Punit Malhotra (director of the 2010 hit film, I Hate Luv Storys), starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
A source reveals, “Shraddha has been signed on for the project. She has a fresh face and has a certain youth appeal to her. The film will show a love triangle between Imran, Kareena and Shraddha.”
The source further adds that though Shraddha’s role may not be very long, it still is a crucial part of the film. “Shraddha’s character is of significance as the story develops. She’s the third part of the triangle and for however long she’s in the film, she will be one of the key characters,” the source adds.
Wise choice this time around? Only time will tell!
