i agree a lot of south indian actresses are now bollywood actresses - bebo was not one of them. she doesnt appeal to the south.

Kareena couldn't appeal to Tamil audiences mainly she doesn't have the southern looks. It would be different if it were Ash, Rani, Priyanka or Kajol. Even Katrina could work. Well I could be wrong, just my opinion. So don't take it seriously and start a warfare :-)
