Umm an actor isn't measured by their intellect but by their ability to convey emotion and she did that amazingly in this film! Intellect is but one attribute, not every person is going to be Einstein, how could you even expect that? And I doubt her drug user/womanizer husband has a high intellect -_-

Thanks for the pics! Sheer nostalgia! Karisma was so beautiful in this film! And much more good looking & talented than her overrated sister Kareena! She worked hard to reach the top. No mean feat to match Govinda in comic timing & dance and one of the only actresses to hold her own against the Khans in any film.

i saw her in several interview. she comes across as really warm sweet person.She really looks like avery nice girl and really gorgeous looking. to Anon below talking about intelligent connection between spouse, its funny because u need to humans with emotions in marriage.Intellect has nothing to do with it. there are many drop out who went on to become really big and have run softeware companies .

when i look at her now i always think she didn't even pass 8th standard, started working by 15 or 16. so after movies, like what does she even have to talk about with her husband? no wonder her marriage got in trouble, your so-called looks (in her case just white skin and not looks IMHO) can only get you so far, after a guy gets past that as you get older and close to 40, surely there should at least be an intellectual connection in a marriage. i wonder if these people like her, kareena, priyanka, kangana etc, who started movies early, will even know how to solve a very basic math problem, or be able to explain to and teach their kids their schoolwork when they have them.
