Ash is a coward, getting her father in law to fight her battle. In every work environment, pregnancy is something that can be worked upon if you are honest with your employer. In most cases, your employer should be told so that they can work around your schedule and work ethics. For example, if there are strenuous work to be done, it can be avoided by doing something else in order not to hurt yourself and the baby. To me, Ash is one selfish person! Having a famous father in law helps her cause and given her more gratification than she deserves! Only in India this is a conflict! In Europe, she will be sent on maternity leave! Many old actresses work through their pregnancies because they wore overall hiding it. The role for 'herone' needs someone to wear sleeky outfits to look lean and sexy!

Somone said something about ASH's discency and respect- you got to be kidding me. She has none of them.
As far as you calling kapoor sisters money hungry, you got it completely wrong.
Excuse me - 1. Is it Ash who try to hide her pregnancy to get a role in the heroine for money.
2. She is 37 and got pregnant after 4 yrs of marriage, you thing this money hungry woman would take a break from her carreer for few months for her and the baby's safety.
3.How could she live with a gulit knowing she didn't tell her producer.
4. I guess she wasn't planning on taking time off after the birth of the baby, as if she manipulated the producer (saying hema and Jaya were pregnant ) in completing the movie, she would then be required to do the promo
5. If she pulled this trick ( making and releasing the movie), chances are other producer might have signed her up for another movie. So this money hungry parivar would have never broken the cycle of staying home and taking care of the baby.

you keep ur lecture to ur self........i dont know who you are or what color u are........but what ever u said is uncalled for.....i 100% beleive that racisim is wrong, but things like this change slowly n not every one out here like ash just because she is good to look at.......i personally dont find anything facinating about ash's looks or even the kapoor sister, but i do like ash because of her decency n the respect she carries around her......however, kapoors sisters seem to be money hungry, although they are decent actresses. She looks great, she has the confidence to walk around without makeup...for bollywood that is very rare! Look at Rani, Shilpa, Ash and many more without makeup, they look horrible...Karisma has had 2 children and still looks young, fresh and can give ALL current actresses a run for their money! Cant wait for her comeback...time to show everyone once again how it's done! :)
With help of surgery and good minimal makeup, she actually looks really good. She was never this good looking when she was younger. Now I have to say she looks very elegant and pretty. However no I would not wish her upon poor Abhishek, he is too sweet of a guy to have to deal with Karishma's haughtiness. While I might not know her personally, I have seen enough of her interviews to know that she is way too stuck up and full of herself.
Indian people r so petty n jealous...instead of praising their indian beauty, they are so negative! that's why I'm selected in watching only few indian movies because of my disgust to indian negativity and immaturity! It's a pity when most are condemning 'white' natural skinned people when 90% of indian population wants to be 'light'. BTW, Ash is natural brown-skinned without skin bleaching, but most of you ignore that and are kissing her 'butt' instead...shows how trivial you people are! Raj Kapoor could not get top billing in techni-color movies because of his coloring, samething with Shammi Kapoor. Racism was a big factor back then with narrow minded people like you.
