well, its kinda vague as to whether or not there punjabi. I dont think its as definitive as the Deol's or the Chopra's. Anil did say that but I have seen countless interviews proclaiming his Punjabi identity , even with the famous Kapoor Family. Iv also read in a few pakistani websites that there may be a mixture of Pathan and Punjabi blood. The punjab region covers much of pakistan and the norh of india i.e amritsar, chandigarh, lahore etc. So to be a punjabi does not mean you are a sikh. It merely means you come from that region, it has nothing to do with religion. You can be a muslim, sikh, hindu, christian and also be a punjabi. To also clarify, there are more hindus in the punjab region of india than sikhs. It just so happens that the majority of sikh believers live in punjab. Seriously, you must get yourself educated. the Kapoors are indeed punjabi.I think Prithviraj Kapoor's father or grand father was stationed in Peshawar during his military post, but the family is originally from Punjab. I dont know how you think Anil kapoor is not punjabi either. The khans do have a stake in bollywood but the industry has been overwhelmingly been ruled by Punjabi's for decades, and what is more shocking that Punjab( including Haryana and himachal) are the most less dense states in India. I can name a long list but whats the point, you probably already know most of the actors/directors of punjabi origin, but I bet you didn't know that amitabh bachan is Half-punjabi.
