In bare minimal makeup - Aishwarya or Katrina?
Both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif were spotted with bare minimal makeup looks last week. Who do you think looked better?. I will go with both. Given that they apply loads of makeup products for their profession, its great to see that both have maintained their skin well.

Ash clearly has a full face of makeup on. like some1 mentioned below, look at her brown neck. her entire face is a completely different (lighter) shade than her brown neck. no comparison here.
Aishwarya has a lot of makeup on here. it's pretty obvious: her face is a lot lighter than her BROWN neck. also, why are a lot of you so offended by the fact that Ash is brown in real life? the Kapoor sisters are what would be considered "very fair" and Ash is naturally a light brown shade. what's the problem with that?
as for the comparison here: it looks like most of Kat's makeup here is gone. she looks lovely. in fact, i've seen her in many pics without any makeup and she always looks really pretty! i'm kinda jealous i have to admit. on the other hand, i've never seen a pic of Ash without makeup, and this pic is no exception. so, i can't say if she really looks pretty.
im an out and out Katrina fan but i can say that aishwarya looks just as good without makeup as katrina does both look smashing! Thats what you call real beauty, beauty without makeup or help! I guess katrina fans really are better because we can actually be honest!

i feel sorry for the anon who's going on about how aish is such a great daughter and bahu. get a grip, man. at least consider the relevancy of the post before falling over yourself to sing her praises. aishwarya couldn't care less that you exist and has no idea you're advertising her competency as a bahu to the bachchans. do you live with them to know this? do you sleep between aishwarya and abhishek to be so privy to her personal life or are you a fly on the wall of their bedroom?
this is a simple question about makeup, not what aish has accomplished or not accomplished. why can't you stay on topic? are you so obsessed with her that you can't admit she doesn't like being seen without a fair amount of makeup on? saying so "brings her down?"
Some people will say all sorts of things to bring Aishwarya down. About analyzing pics and all that jazz. It all boils down to one's personal choices. But if Aish was a man and would have been at the age & wonderful stage( married happily, looking nice & still handling a film career) she's now, no one would have said anything( sad reality of Bollywood).That's why it's right- THIS POST WITH COMPARISONS with a non actress made no sense. Period.
Aishwarya might be somewhat brown but definitely not as brown as Freida. Pri etc, though they look nice in their own way. A TV technician once said that because of the camera light reflecting, her eye color keeps changing on screen. The same could be the case with the complexion. Very few on this board know her personally, so most of what they say are assumptions.
I know somebody whose complexion looks different in every photograph thanks to her kind of complexion.
But as a whole this comparison makes no sense. Aish indeed has done quite a bit as one anon said below and shouldn't be brought down all the time. Guess many people are angry with her because she never hid her age unlike so many others and is still working in a world where only men are not judged because of their age. But give the comparisons a rest at least and let her be. It will do some good.

Kat is naturally very pretty..i've met her at the airport in Singapore once. Ash always wears makeup (like in this pic) so you can't say she's naturally pretty. she's pretty but with makeup on.
this really isn't a fair comparison! Ash does indeed have makeup on while Kat doesn't (hence the uneven complexion). in fact, i've seen thousands upon thousands of pictures of Ash but not one where she isn't wearing makeup! i'm honestly not making this up...i work for a reputable magazine in India and it's part of my job to edit pics. also, given my job, i've had the pleasure to interview many celebrities...both Kat and Ash. and, i can attest that Kat is very pretty without any makeup at all. i can't say the same for Ash because i've never seen her without makeup.

Ash is naturally beautiful.For people who say she is brown and all that ,i have seen her personally without make up and she has beautiful skin and she is fair as milk.Katrina is the one who has platic face.

This question is sort of useless because you can't see their faces. It's not exactly a fair comparison since Aishwarya looks better precisely because she's wearing more makeup/the quality of the photo. Kat looks like she's wearing foundation only on certain areas which the direct flash has caught - which is why the bare/tanned forehead & jaw is obvious in relation to the cheeks. I've seen her elsewhere wearing none and she seems to get away with it because of generally even skin tone and no issues with under-eye circles like most desi girls. Don't think Aish has been spotted without makeup since she entered the industry. I think I've only seen shots of Malaika Arora genuinely barefaced and Kareena who's often caught without any moisturizer on, let alone makeup. They both still look pretty great.
The 'no makeup look' actually requires a lot of work (and makeup). A good quality/well-matched foundation will look seamless like Aishwarya's. Looks like she's also set it with powder since there's no natural shine where there usually should be. Her eyebrows are filled in, and she's wearing blush and a pink lippie. That's not minimal, but the soft focus of the picture and no flash makes it seem so.
Katrina is VERY average looking. Ash is overrated. To me beauty is, kajol.

There ought not to be any comparisons between the two. One is an Indian beauty who's been around for a while, has been a role model for Indian girls in India and abroad as Miss world, an Indian movie star who acted well in a few of her films, gathered a little Hollywood fame too, is a good daughter to her parents and also great bahu to the Bachchans,who are not so easily pleased. All this doesn't mean she's been called perfect here.
The other can't act at all, with not one movie she carried on her shoulders, can't speak Hindi, is quite manly but is still around first because of a certain Mr Khan, good luck, great deal of trying, doctor visits to keep her looking good and most importantly because of the Indian viewers' unhealthy fascination with fair skin( it's good dusky feminine beauty Freida Pinto left to pursue an international career).There are serious speculations about this one lying about her age( 26 going on 30 plus), background and whereabouts. Here her skin looks kind of blotchy. So how can there be no foundation wearing off and it be all natural as people who like are claiming? Nargis is 32 and has far more natural fair skin if not acting skills. Is that why Ranbir's focus shifted busting her plans to be a Kapoor?
Anyway,I don't think such posts should be encouraged. The comparisons only lead to arguments between Ash haters and her defenders and the battle just goes on and on and on. This isn't healthy at all. Smitag, are you listening? Please it's also a request.
