Date Clash Prompted Katrina To Choose Role With Hrithik Over Arjun's 'Gunday'
Katrina dilemma of choosing between Gunday or Hrithik Roshan's thriller seemingly ended when YRF chose Priyanka Chopra for Gunday. However, insiders suggest that it was Katrina who decided to skip Gunday due to date issues and that she made the choice before Priyanka was preferred over her. According to HT, shooting for the Hindi remake of Tom Cruise’s hit Knight And Day starring India's own Top Gun Hrithik Roshan is set to start around Feb- March 2013. Gunday too was scheduled to start around the same time and Katrina decided to choose Hrithik over YRF. Sources close to her say that she just wanted to exploit the fact that the audience loved her chemistry with Hrithik in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, everything is hunky-dory between Katrina and Arjun. She considers Arjun as her brother and is keen to do a film with him when an opportunity presents itself. This news comes as a dampener for those who gleefully suggested that PC had been chosen over Katrina.

THIS news is evidence that katrina's representatives are frantically at work, if news about pc replacing kat hadn't been published this article would've never come to light. oh and, there is no doubt in my mind that kat doesn't know hindi, she knows it as well as (if not better) than native hindi speakers, the reason she doesn't speak it is because she thinks she'll be "better" than the rest cause of her "fabulous english".. afterall in india those who speak english and are "white" are always held in high regard and kat is feeding off this widespread complex, pinkvilla pleease post this!

Why the hell are they remaking a flop film, Knight and Day is a flop film. Kat's role is again minuscule. as Tom cruise had the substantial role in this case Hrithik and not cameron diaz.

I do not credit Priyanka with any major "acting prowess" - she is very one note but people seem to consider that good acting so whatever and 2. "Zanjeer (2013) with Sonu Sood"... er - why would you say Sonu Sood when I'm sure you did check/google and know that the hero in Zanjeer is Ram Charan Teja - he is an A list star in his own right down south - you needn't have overlooked his name like this, unless of course you made a genuine slip up.

Katrina we know that's either you or your PR talking. I know your Hindi is poor but please learn how to spell Duggu's name right next time, it's HRITHIK. PC does not need the Khans or Akki unlike you whose career is defined by your on-screen jodi with the Khans and Akki. The Khans and Akki or even HRITHIK were not in FASHION, BARFI, KAMINEY or ANJAANA ANJAANI yet PC still turned in riveting performances. Check your facts first before you run your gob. i absolutely agree. that's not really possible unless it comes out of katrina or her PR's mouth in which case they would say it was "the media" and not her people doing that.
you know what they say: people that have no talent have a loud mouth instead to make up for it and promote themselves, be it in the form of praising or slamming others. and we all know katrina fake kaif has got no talent. hell she does not even do her basic job of acting.

according to many rapid fire responses by many celebrities.........people say it was a date problem when they clearly did not get the role or were thrown out of the rat race for the movie and that is just a safe answer they give to save their image if it's fadingggggggggggggggg like katrina's image
Well PC's PR was saying that Katrina was replaced by PC when that clearly was not the case, that's why Katrina had to come out to clarify.
It's very hard to believe PC's lie that Katrina was replaced when Katrina is the most in demand heroine right now working will all the Khans while PC making up rumours that she is in Salman's Sher Khan and other BS.
katrina has always used people's name and status to get roles:
-salman was used by her when she needed him to bring her more roles in fact salman said in an interview that she would go crying to him about the roles she did not get and now of course after priyanka's great performance in barfi, she's using her
