Madame Tussauds Hong Kong unveils Bollywood Superstar Collection
Madame Tussauds Hong Kong unveiled the superstar collection of Bollywood A-Lister, including Aishawarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, and Shah Rukh Khan. They will reside alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the World Premiere zone from now until July 19, 2012. Designed to allow fans across the globe to meet the Bollywood idols, the wax figures are now on a world tour as they travel from Blackpool to other Madame Tussauds attractions including Hong Kong, Bangkok, London and other sites in Europe and the US. Described as “the most beautiful woman in the world”, Aishwarya Rai has starred in over 40 Bollywood films and won numerous awards including Filmfare Awards, International Indian Film Academy Awards, and Star Screen Awards, etc. In 2004, she has also been selected by TIME magazine as one of the world’s most influential people. Kareena Kapoor, one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood, has been awarded numerous prestigious accolades in the past, making her a leading actress in Hindi films. Her distinctive style has also been setting fashion trends, which established her status as a fashion icon. Another superstar in the Bollywood collection – the heartthrob Hrithik Roshan is the youngest male actor from India to be honoured by Madame Tussauds. Having starred in a number of award-winning films and receiving a few Best Actor awards, Hrithik Roshan affirmed his position as one of the top earning male actors in the industry. Often referred to as “The King of Bollywood”, Shah Rukh Khan is an acclaimed Indian actor who has acted in over 70 Hindi films and shares the record for receiving the highest number of Best Actor awards with Dilip Kumar. These four Bollywood icons have already arrived and are waiting to meet their fans in Hong Kong, along with Amitabh Bachchan, one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema and the very first permanent Bollywood wax figure exhibited at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Kelly Mak, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, said, “We are very excited to see some of the greatest Bollywood stars take the stage here in Hong Kong. As we observe an increasing number of visitors from India, I’m sure they would be pleased to see their idols up close even away from home.”

Im REALLY wanting to see a STATUE of Rani Mukherji , she needs to be there ! , but Aishwarya is so PRETTY , her STATUE is even pretty , she looks so GOOD without MAKE UP and no other actress can beat that , thats for sure ;) , Aishwarya's statue was the first statue to be put up in the WORLD , sorry female statue i should say in the BOLLYWOOD section ! , but WOW they all look FANTASTIC :* , if ONLY the STATUES could come to LIFE ?

Hrithik deserves his place with his hard work,dedication and perfection he brings to roles on screen.
It is kareena who does not deserve to be there. What has she done? except run around trees?
I suggest remove kareena statue and put freida pinto statue. At least people know who she is.

Wax statue of Hrithik and Kareena is the most untrue to the real stars. Hrithik one looks like a cross between Harman Baweja and Robert Pattinson, and Kareena's statue looks just awful.
Haha , yeah when I visited MT in Hk this yr I too felt big B is lonely there in a big place kept for Bollywood. Hope they keep all of them there. But honestly the MT standards r dropping
