Numerous polls have been created over the years to for the Top 10 Bollywood Actresses Ever. The criteria for the best bollywood actress ever is Acting skills,Beauty,Dance,Box office pull, Power, Popularity,Style, Likeability, Icon Status, Glamour, and Versatility. Almost everytime, the legendary Madhuri Dixit has come out on top as the Best Bollywood Actress ever. I wholeheartdly agree with Madhuri being on the top as her combination of Mesmerszing Beauty, Unmatched Dance, Incredible Acting Skills, Glamour Quotient,Box office pull (Hum Aapke Hain Kaun), Versatility ( Devdas, Mrityudand, Pukar, Dil) and Icon status are unparrelled. Some other names that come up are: Who do You think is the BEST BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS EVER?

Is box office pull a criteria? If that is so then madhuri is not among the top 5 actress with box office performance. Please what ever we do we should consider time. Internet became more common from mid nineties and it reaslly aid promotion of films and actors. Alot of films made during 60s,70s and 80s will do much better than most of bollywood blockbusters in 90s/2000 if done in 90s/2000
I will have respect this posting most if it says from 90s as you can expect fans following of actors of 80s,70s and 60s to compete on the net with the present ones. The generation of next 10 yrs am sure would not mention madhuri in their top 10 list. What would you say about BO success of deepika and katrina?

Madhuri is not even in top 5 list? what a sick comment written by any mental insane person.......Internet is what? propably he/she have to missed the point that now a days due to numerous channels and family back ground.....any actress have to face very difficulty for survival in bollywood....70,80's areas was not so advance,and no many channels were launched and competition was not stuff between channels....So that time recognition was very easy for any type of actress like sridevi,zeenaat amaan type stuffs...Not today is possible for every regular actress.........

Did madhuri not provved herself that she is the single beautiful lady in the Whole industry who came to the movie in aja nach le without any hero....movie made over her name,,,,lake over her name after her dance in koyla,,ashook kumaar said she is the 1st complete actress in 100 years....tV serial over her name,,,,what about Dil,Hum app ki hain Koun and beta? who's was the actress who have full intensity and pure natural sensual look that time except madhurii....(dhaak dhaak is the prime example of her perfect feminine and sensual look)...who's actress had the perfect smile,Mystic face,,,perfect feminie grace that time in hum app ki hain koun movie? I want to talk abt the time which sridevi gave like era of Disco Dancer,chalbaaz and Himmatwala kind of movies are not really followed by the people now.. Even I like Sridevi, was just duration which people are talking abt is from 86 to 89 where Nagina Chandani came n after that Madhuri picked up.....now a days most of the actresses imitating to madhuri in all sort of life be it acting,dancing,clothing and many more categories

Madhuri's much forgotten dance number:
Saajan (1992) was one of the most successful films of the 90s, and its music was very much appreciated. For some reason however it is hardly talked about today. Maybe some find it outdated, but that would be the case of practically every film from the period. Saajan songs were overally slow-ish duets, but that was not the case of oh-so-beautifully named Tu Shayar Hai, which presented Madhuri in one of the most beautiful ways. The dance was rather modern, not so much the setting, which actually reminds me more of the deep 80s then year 1992. the background dancers are actually quite funny to watch in their little skirts and horrendous outfits, and some of them are actually pretty chubby and I don´t think they would have a chance to do films today. But in the end even this dance is about Madhuri and Madhuri only. And Madhuri with the cutest expressions shines, whether in the orange, blue or her most essential white dress color.
Madhuri smile is supposed to be the best in Bollywood ever. Her hair and dance and face is quite beautiful too.But her feminine body structure is a peak point of womenhood.
I will always find Madhuri way way way prettier and far more beautiful.. but that's an opinion. Her hair, smile, eyes.. everything is just spectacularly beautiful.
Aish and sridevi, while cosmetically perfect (though smaller face is not) and with pretty eyes-- sometimes looks very very beautiful... and sometimes not. But both not our type. There's nothing in thier looks which stirs.. (but to others, they may). it's all a matter of taste and freedom. one can't compare beauties.
Sridevi is my alltime favourite actress.

Nowadays, i just could see the newcomers with a great body and sexy outfit, but they are nothin to compare with MADHURI DIXIT. They are zero talent.
