The previews of Sridevi's English Vinglish have got the whole film industry raving and all Madhuri is doing are these inane TV shows. Is this why she came back?
The last dance/clip was the best imo, the others not so much...hopefully, Mads comes back seriously to cinema now with 2 female-centric movies, and perhaps leaves this dancing show behind.
She cant hold a candle in front of Sridevi and Meena Kumari
I am a diehard Madhuri fan, believe she is the best dancer, and never thought would live to say this, but am HORRIFIED! To me this looks like a pathetically desperate attempt. A huge disfavor to her fans. There is something to be said about retiring at the right time. Madhuri, don't do this to yourself, don't kill the Madhuri we so loved. This is a request straight from the heart.

While she might have had a facelift, I defnitely don't think it is Botox. botox will not let you have those facila movements she shows. I am sure she is wearing loads of makeup. She is jsut doing a tribute and her rendition of those dances. Sri is a once ina lifetime actress and it is difficult to do that-although some pinkvilla folks are calling Sri a fatty on the other thread -very sad what Indian fashion has come to-aping the west to
a T without even understanding why.
But back to madhuri-I think she is ok and defnitely not Botox.
I always thought of her as a great dancer but regarding this made me realise she's only good in classic mujra, the other dances are not that good, looks a bit odd((

Where do you see botox? I'm not saying that she's never had it but what's so visible about it on her? Madhuri has gained overtime and rightly so, as she is now over 40 and has not been in Bollywood for over 10 years. Everything looks plump with the weight gain. Now someone will say, her eyebrows look different from previous years. Well, my eyebrows don't look the same either from previous years. When you are shaping your eyebrows and get them done every few weeks, it depends on the personwho is doing it and it differs from time to time and overtime, it comes out looking different. I'm not saying that she's never used botox. Of course, I can't confirm or deny that but I'm saying that look at Katrina Kaif. You can clearly tell in her recent pics and also in the song, Chikini Chameli, she has got some work done on her lips and nose. It is very clear that PZ uses it, especially in the lip area. I just don't see anything artifical in Madhuri. Perhaps it's the make up.
Madhuri's biggest asset is her alluring facial expressions. Sadly, she messed up with excessive botox into her face. All her expressions in the dances now look funny at best and scary at worst.

I don't know why everybody is criticising her it is not botox.it is her weight .she is aging and when you get old if you are having weight your body looks odd and your face gets fluffy.I am pretty sure her husband won't recommend her for botox if he is really doctor becoz there are side effects for that.You guys have problem becoz she came back.you don't like publicity. I am not shreedevi hater or anything but if she can do plastic surgery ten times to maintain her face.she is getting thinner she don't want to feel her face bulgy.But madhuri cannot do anything.if commercial people doesn't mind taking her for their promos or ads.then what's your problem.
meenakumari was very good in dance but Madhuri is trained dancer and it is hard for trained dancer not do any moments in dance when you can perfectly do nice expression.
she's trying to channel her 'Dhak Dhak' girl image in that 'I love you' song.
I think it's so sad how overly critical we are to the women of the industries as they get old. People are telling them to look, dress, and act "their age". Yet their male contemporaries are still doing college student roles (Aamir), masala films (Salman), and trying to look cool but looking freakish by putting on loads of makeup (Shahrukh in Ra1).
Madhuri has always been regarded as a dancer and if she has the energy and capability to judge and dance in a dancing show, why shouldn't she do it? Of course, she is going to look old, she's 44. Look past the age to her dancing ability, she's absolutely incredible and unique in her class, elegance and demeanor when it comes to dancing.
But even though Amir played a college student in 3 idiots, he still 'acts' his age. It looks appropriate. He has the botox injected in bucket-fulls to make himself look the part.
Imo. Salman and SRK are talentless hacks.
You dont see the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet etc. grinding and prancing around to 'I love you', or 'Thade rahiyo' do you? It would be completely ridiciulous, just as it is ridiculous now with Madhuri. She looks completely haggard and jaded in that chamak challo video. Its so silly.
Why can't she be working on roles that are age appropriate? Or, atleast stop making a fool out of herself by prancing around to ek do teen, and mera piya ghar aiya at the grand age of 44. She's not doing any praise worthy roles. She never was a good actress, she always used to overreact, but it has only gotten worse now.
Last season,she had just come back n people were excited to see her.. But now she is almost everywhere so.. there is nothing exciting about the show..

This is very bad. Specially tribute to Meena Kumari and Sridevi. In Meena Kumari's song she overacts alot with her facial expressions and in Sridevi song she just chose the wrong song.. she could choose anyother song. This do not suit her at all. She looks old. Like a granny wants to be loved!! very bad expression. What are you doing Madhuri to yourself?
Ohh in the THARE RAHIYO she ruined the song. Over expressions nd no grace. Guys watch d meena kumari's dance she is simply d most graceful dancer ever in bollywood.

I am an MD fan but seriously not liking all the performance except the one dedicated to Meena Kumari. The dress and dance suits her, even though I think her expressions for Tharerahiyo is over done cause Meena Kumari's moves are quite understated in the original. Anyways. I hate the one she does for Sridevi and also Mumtaz. She just doesn't look good in the Kate nahi kat ti hain, that song belongs to Sri that's all.
She looks gorgeous in the blue saree while she's talking but the rest of the stuff appears a bit too much for my liking. Anyways, curios to see the show.
