I think married Bollywood actresses are a huge hit for selling household items. Karishma, Kajol, Madhuri , Juhi all are endorsing household products. Aishwarya doesnt join this list though.

Funny thing. Madhuri is really pretty but her voice sounds like an old grandmas now.
Neither do Karishma, Kajol, Madhuri, Juhi endorse high-end A-grade international brands like L'Oreal, Longines and Lux.
Another difference is all of them are mothers and Ash still has to be a mother first.
Btw, they sell household products because no one offers them big A-list products. Otherwise nobody would be selling them. Get real.
I love her. People should really stop hating on her. She's done her part of the deed in bollywood for 25 years, now she's a mother and a wife. She's still very beautiful and elegant. It's absolutely okay for her to do ads like these. She will always be my favorite.

the makeup job on Mad is just horrendous! they, as usual, are trying to whiten her (and everyone in India) with foundation! sad! otherwise, liking the ad.
as for Ash not being in this list: she is not as old as the other actresses and most importantly SHE IS NOT A MOTHER! Smitag, you really need to get a life outside of trying to promote the useless Aishwarya.

Because Ash is not a mom yet doesnt convey that mom type feelings like these other actresses do for are moms in real life. After she does become a mom, then for sure she would take a couple to reach the masses.

Her acting in this ad is definitely better than the basmati rice one, more relaxed and natural. Maybe she should use her real son in on of these ads, as a keepsake. However anyone can tell this endorsing is a farce as everyone knows she lives in the US and indian detergent brands are not available there.
