Original Mehdi Hasan or Himesh's 'Naina Re' Song
The lyrics of the song 'Naina Re' from 'Dangerous Ishhq' starring Karishma Kapoor and Rajneesh Duggal has been borrowed from Mehdi Hasan's 1977 hit by the same name. I have added both the songs here for your reference. Which of the renditions do you prefer? Himesh Reshammiya's version or Mehdi hasan's version. The Pakistani song had been penned by Tasleem Fazli & Younus Hamdam.Lyrics of Himesh's song has been penned by Sameer Anjaan.

obviously Mehdi hassan's version I m an Indian and my father is a hugggggggggggggggggggggge fan of mehdi sahab he has all of his songs and gazals . Mehdi sahab has a class and i think it would be his insult if v would compare him with himesh
The Original is AWESOM!!! The new one is ruined by Himesh with his typical nasal singing. Karishma looks pretty!

I find both songs are so different, hardly hear any similarities apart from the Naine re bit. Think Himesh did a good job.

I think you're referring to the hero of the movie and his name is Nadeem. He was a really good actor of his era ;)
God, Nadeem is so beautiful and tragic. Such a talented star. Karisma looks lovely also.
well mehdi hasan, lata mageshkar, asha bhosle, etc they are
class apart you can t campare them to anyone they are far above the
compition

The actor in original version is NADEEM, the super star of Pakistan Film Industry. Hats off to his superb acting potential!
