Bollywood's Saif Ali-Khan Issues a Public Apology to Hollywood's Natalie Portman
Less than 24 hours after it was reported that actor Saif Ali-Khan had snagged Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Natalie Portman to star in his next film and less than 12 hours after it was reported that the actress' lawyers had swiftly responded to the internet claims by reportedly serving Ali-Khan's Illuminati Films with a 'cease and desist' legal notice as well as a demand for an immediate public apology...Ali-Khan has come clean. He made up the rumour. In a statement issued to Joginder Tuteja of Glamsham.com he has said to the actress: "It was a joke, I am sorry." Furthermore, the actor explained that he made up the story when he became tired of answering personal questions and that he hopes the public will understand.

pls PV don't have Voicewriter as a moderator, someone like her who's the most biased, opinionated, Ash obsessed is exactly the reason y she shouldn't be one. A moderator is supposed to be neutral and her being one will only stop many ppl from visiting this site. U may as well change the name to Ashvilla, where everyone except her will be bashed and such thing as freedom of speech will not exist.
I knew this was gonna happen sooner or later after he issued that statement. Come on this is Natalie Portman. Why would she allow her name to be used for publicity for a film she didn't even sign, that was stupid of Saif.

stars take action against other people using their names to promote something because their fans are going to beome interested in the project and if the star is not involved in the event or project what so ever than the fans are going to be let down. the stars don't what other people to get away with using their fan following to get money and attendance in the movie theather or at events. that's why some stars don't like when other people mention their names when projects or events are not finalized between both parties. also that is why stars don't say what projects they are involved in untill everything is sorted out.
The difference between the usual rumours and this one is that Saif started this one by himself.
