The 8th Annual Gemfields RioTinto Retail Jeweller India Awards 2012- An Elite Circle of Excellence, also known as the Oscars of the jewellery industry, showcased India’s top 165 nominated jewellery creations at The Trident, BKC, Mumbai.

The Jury Panel included Neha Dhupia (Actress), Anita Dongre (Fashion Designer), Amrita Puri (Actress), Namrata Baruwa Shroff (Interior Architect), Ananya Banerjee (Artist), Vaishali Banerjee (Manager - Platinum Guild India), Schauna Chauhan Saluja (CEO, Parle Agro Pvt. Ltd.) & Prasad Kapre (Core Committee Member, FICCI Gem & Jewellery).

More than 928 entries poured in from all over India in this run for glory. However, 165 awe-inspiring pieces were shortlisted for the grand jury-meet, exhibiting the creative brilliance of more than sixty top jewellery houses including Anmol, Farah Khan Fine Jewellery, Hazoorilal, Tanishq, TBZ – The Original, Popley Diamond and Gold Plaza, Amrapali, Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas, Mirari, CKC, and many others
