Zeenat's father died when she was very very young so it could be all she wanted was security from a man...also, most women believe they can change a bad guy, this is way they put up with them in the first place...

@anon who asked how Feroz Khan was - Feroz khan was just opposite to Sanjay khan. Too sophisticated and stylish and respectful to ladies/women. But he was too short tempered.

Abdullah may be a flop for the public but for Zeenat Aman it was a big ‘HIT’.
And making Taj Mahal was the height of stupidity. What is the point of spending 50 cr on a film that has Zulfi Sayed as hero? How were they expecting to recover their cost from a film whose most known cast name was Pooja Batra?!

Sanjay khan was one of the most notorious,Manupulator and opportunist person during those days with lot of sheikh connections in gulf countries. He also hit her very badly in front of so many people injuring her eye. His film Abdullah was made mainly from Zeenat Aman’s money.

Sanjay Khan did not get his face burnt right after this. It was during the filming of Tipu Sultan, his most ambitious TV project. There was a huge fire on set and he gut burnt badly, and lost a whole lot of money. He went to the US to have skin grafting surgery and more or less restored to normalcy. Snajay's wife slapped Zeenat so hard on the face that she got nerve damage! Thats why one of her eyes look slightly different.
Karma is a bitch indeed.

What frustrates me most how a woman like Zeenat Aman can put up with this? Why didn't she report this incident to the police? Why didn't he serve time in jail? Why did she put her money in his film? Zeenat Aman has always projected herself as a westernized independent woman, but this article shows that that just an image and that she has no self-respect. Very very disappointing.

As for barbaric Sanjay and evil Zarine; the less said the better.

Love must trully be a ridiculous malady if someone as liberally brought up and educated as Zeenat Aman settled to be the second wife and cash cow for such a pathetic man as Sanjay Khan. Why don't women listen when people warn them, why are we all to ready to throw away everything we stand for in the name of love? Aman in the span of he career changed the way the Indian Woman appeared in hindi movies and is looked at as a feminsit icon of sorts and yet she herself settled for a relationship with a married man and believed in the farce of a polygamous marriage.

this is a shocking story.
i cannot believe zarine khan and parmeshwar godrej are still considered in elite societies today.
