yeah, seems she's the only beauty in india. if a girl with lighter skin and eyes happens to come out of mangalore, indians go ga-ga over her b/c most of the indian population doesn't look like this. it's sad but true that they don't appreciate the majority, just the exceptional minority which ends up in bollywood. this is why they have to 'import' kashmiri and pakistani origin girls 'cos they're considered more beautiful by most indians.

watched "bride and prejudice" for the first time ,just now.
Ash looks So FAT even way back in 2005.. and the directors deliberately made Namrata wear dull colored clothes and Ash got the plum colors to highlight her..
But the Irony is namrata looks heavenly the way she is.. like cinderella in cinder clothes.. and she shines because of her natural acting....
Many whites here like Namrata and her acting here.. dont know what Ash was thinking making a debut in hollywood looking like that.. so unhealthy !!

Ash can no doubt look better than all at hollywood...but the reason she wore brown is coz it doesnt stand out too much. U dont want to be wearing bright red...and ppl going "who is that?" thats embarassing...i think she was going for the understated look to match her understated status in Hollywood....

hello Dont make up stories....millions of Indian in US are watching ABC Oscars-they are not whoan at all as of 7.40 LA time nor were there name mentioned....I kind of spotted Ar Rahman when ABC host Robin was interviewing some hollywood stars

ASh is just no body in Hollywood we r not putting her or holding her up. And dont worry so what if ABC didnot cover them , PAPA Big B is there to do the job

Wish she would have worn a SAREE and made India proud, omg look at AR Rahman and his wife, she is looking so elegant and so respectfull. I saw the oscars here at Us, and yahoo usa there are more pics or Mallika than Ash/
