I always wished it had been Aamir Khan instead of SRK in Dil Se. SRK was fine and even great in some scenes .....like when the Manisha comes back into his life on his engagement day....but he's not naturally sensitive like Aamir ....also I prefer Aamir 's classic good looks. So what if he's not tall. Height is overrated. Most great actors I know are on the short side. Like Al Pacino and Robert Di Niro. Being small and compact probably concentrates the intensity.
Sometimes SRK hams too much tho' I must say he was very sincere and gave it his all in Dil Se. But sometimes in the intense scenes I thought his famous character from DARR was coming back and he was going to go ...KKKKKk kiran....
I guess SRK is a good student and must be commended for his hard work. But when it comes to Art I prefer the narturally gifted sensitive ones like Aamir Khan . ....They are just born with it.

Ohh ..... I miss thiss couple SRK and Manisha... but i CANT belive that "Dil Se" was average....that shud've been BLOCKBUSTER ! the story, the couple, the actors, the song and speacilly SRK <3333 yes, he acted from heart (dil se)

Preity was so wholesome looking now she's a botox lady......that kind of makes me admire Manisha because at least she hasn't done that.
Mallika looked trashy even then. Atleast she was young then and could get away with it. But she still dresses trashy ....making her look like an aging hooker.
I LOVED THIS MOVIE VERY MUCH, THE ONLY FILM SHAH RUKH ACTED FROM HIS HEART (DIL SE)...

the BEST BEST BEST movie of Manisha is Dil Se.... her acting, her natural looks and her pairing with SRK ! mindblowing ! and its one of the best movie of SRK too
