Dusky => Not Attractive ???

all dusky actresses are beautiful and they are extremely talented. hats off to them.we can live only because of them .they are our inspiration as they are very successful and fearless.

I totally argree!!!we have been socialised in an community where ppl only find the fair beautiful. It is not only wrong but also disgusting. Everyone else strives for the tanned look, baking in the sun for hours and spending money on tanning products. Asians or ppl that have a olive complexion look beautiful and infact have really distinctive features. I attend asian weddings and hear ppl saying, 'Oh the bride is pretty but same she is a little dark'!!How disgusting!!! People need to wake up and appreciate the beauty around them. Freida Pinto has such distinctive eyes and nose compared to kareena who is plain and white!!!

To all Indian-origin people, there is a reason why the community is trying to unite for all people of color.

Is this what you want for the desi youths-- that they can only fit into the world after bleach and/or packcakes?? These days, it is very popular to call stars average and even compare her with common civillians-- and really put them in their 'place'. this is why all of us have to come togther to unite for a greater cause.

i don't really think so, but I think just like any other country light skin is prefered but bipasha and deepika r very dusky so is sushmita sen and they are taken to one of most beautiful women in India

the only people who think fair = beautiful are fat uneducated punjabis, biharis, UP-ites, etc...

skin color doesn't matter, it's the features that do, at least to westerners. like kareena kapoor would never be considered attractive in the U.S. cause she look like a man

I think beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. It is a not matter of being fair or dark skinned.

beauty does not have to do with if you are dark or light. It has to do with beauty as simple as that.

theyre absolutely beautiful but it doesnt depend on the colour of their skin at all, its the features that matter. sonam and aishwarya are both fair, put them together :theres alot of difference between the two. therefore its the same for dusky people, friedo on her own is a beauty but put her next to bipasha, theres a lot of difference there too but dusky people on their own are stunning!

i hate to burst ur bubble but-priyanka dusky??? i mean just look at that last picture. and were it not for bipashas body i dont think shed be welcome in bollywood.

This is an issue that most minorities have. I thought Freida was gorgeous when I saw her in Slumdog, but when I came here and saw the comments, I realized that others took issue with her color. It's a shame that what we hate about ourselves, other cultures will love. Look at how most Asians, Blacks and Latinos feel it's okay to bleach, yet Whites go out and tan to be our colors.

Look at the reality on the past posters in PV-- and often, NOT ONE PERSON.. NOT ONE PERSON stands up against color issues. Would like to post them (in fact, one poster here who says dusky is great has made anti-Frieda comments often on her color)-- but can't-- they would start saying 'stop bashing'.
