to the person below who said that they are just runner ups..... well true but not that right either
aish was the first runner up ( lost with 0.3 points ) and both became miss world and miss universe respectively
(its a myth that miss world title is not as big as a miss universe title both are equally prestigious) aish and sush's historic win (dual win for india) ended the system of runner up in miss india and they started to crown 3 winners each year by saying that all 3 are equal ( sources: wikipedia)
so you cant say that pc and others (after aish) are runner up.... so indirectly aish is the reason why all are given equal importance
some extra facts :
miss world, miss earth, miss international and miss universe are the top beauty pageants in the world ( miss world and universe are at the top, equally prestigious) and additionally miss world is the longest running and oldest pageant in the world

OMGGG look at the nasty priyanka chopra.. I dont know Why some people still like her.. they must have VERY VERY low standard.
but ash was never miss india. she was the runner up and thats why went on to the miss world contest. it was sush who won miss india title in 1994. same with pc. lara was miss india, pc and diya were the first and second runner ups respectively. @ dessigal you could say the miss india runner ups who made it bigger thn the winners.

we cant really say that they r insecure.Sometimes they are advised to do so for looking good on photos.It s like we doing a course or a training programme.They invest on that.
Sushmita Sen is the real beautiful. she a woman with beauty brain and class. she has done so much for the world and others....she truly is MISS UNIVERSE. so beautiful inside and out. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS.
OMG- I didnt believe the rumors about Ash's surgery- but one look at these pic of Ash, and you know, when she smiles today.. it no longer looks like this.. her muscles pull differently now (?),.... anyways.. made india proud.. but wrong role model.. because surgery indicates insecurity in one's own looks.. and we should all be proud of how we look.. because god made us all beautiful
