A true exception would be Freida Pinto who despite her lack of any support or backing from bollywood has turned out to be more successful and bagged roles that even Aish Aunty can even dream of getting in Hollywood. Now thats called a true exception.

Pinto is mostly arm candy in her roles. Trishna and Miral she had the lead and they both failed badly. She has been secverly panned for her acting in al of her movies.
Ash did try her hadnn for Hollywood but she failed there, and doesn't want to go back.
WHy would she trade her her career in Bollywood for a short-lived career in Hollywood? Freida's career isn't going anywhere after that disaster Trishna. She seriously lacks talent and acting skills.
New movie she has been casted in is a Terrance Malick movie. Called Knights of cups. Famous actors in that movie are Christain Bale, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchet, Wes Bently,etc are the lead characters from what I heard. Freida only has a cameo role, maybe for like 1 scene. Terrance Malick is famous for cutting out actors parts and shooting the same scenes with many diffrent actors. Freida part was shot with Isbale Lucus,Teresa Palmer and a few other girls. I have seen pictures of it. She might not be able to make the final cut.
Freida career is not better then that of Aishwaryas or Priyanka. 4 years after slumdog and Pinto is still doing arm candy and 2 min cameos.
Freida has made some outragous remarks about her 'struggle' but she is complelty deluded. She had no idea how many actor living in LA are struggling on a daily basis to get small parts. She just lucky with SDM.
I wish her all the best in Hollywood.
Then she finally is far away from all married bollywood stars.

That is so very untrue. Please stop worshiping Aish aunty. All of Aish's movies were not from any major Hollywood directors. Her acting was appalling. Bride and Prejidice was all like bollywwod masala. Why don't we compare her with Rani or Vidya balan? Aish aunty will fail anyday.
BTW slumdog millionaire did revolve around Freida too.

I agree with her. I don't understand the obsession with Hollywood. If you get any substantial role, then definitely venture into it whether it is Hollywood or the Japanese film industry. There is no point of acting in a Hollywood film to show up for 3 scenes. It actually is a mockery of credible actresses whether they are Priyanka, Kareena, Vidya, Madhuri, Rani, etc. These actresses can carry movies on their own or are capable of doing so. Let's keep that alive!

ol she looks like dodi from that teen show that used to air on Nikelodeon; 'as told by Ginger'. Her wig makes me crack up, and her nose job, oh dear! Her mouth looks like a gaping blackhole. She's a mediocre actress at best. She was an ARM CANDY in don, agneepath, krishh, Drona, Lovestory 2050, pyar impossible, .. a large majority of her films. WHAT IS SHE,SMOKING!??

did anyone listen to this? she doesn't want to play "armcandy roles" in HOLLYWOOD. Meaning, she doesn't want to waste her time on small roles in HOLLYWOOD. Bollywood is totally different. She said she would rather spend that time working in India.

I'm American and that is not how we speak. That has to be one of the worst American accents I've ever heard. I used to really like PC but she has become so fake that she probably has no sense of who she is anymore. Why does PC refuse to deny the SRK affair rumors if she didn't have an affair with him. Is it to achieve fame or did she really have an affair with him? What has she become? And she was arm candy in Don/Don 2, Agneepath, Krishh 2, Pyar Impossible, etc. She acts like she's so highly and better than everyone else when the truth is she's not.

Nobody cares about Aish aunty either. And please don't make her an exception in everything. Priyanka is younger than Aish, more talented (be it in terms of dialogue delivery, or performances), and has also been Miss World.
Unlike Aish, she focused on acting rather than endorsements and belittling arm candy roles abroad.
At least Priyanka knows what she wants and is frank about it.
