All 3 of them were good in the movie. But Ranbir was the best and he was better than Priyanka. I'm not saying Priyanka wasn't good she was, but Ranbir was better. He had a harder role, because he was deaf and mute. PC could talk in the movie. Its very difficult to not talk while acting for the whole movie. This movie is a super hit. All haters just shut up ok! Go watch your stupid Jab Tak Hai Jaan or Cocktail. Barfi was awesome. I love the movie. I love RK soooooo much. I loved his and Ilena's chemistry alot in this movie. So cute.

Ranbir is effortless and best.
Actually priyanka is in supporting role but before release they didn't reveal, now in bollywoodhungama Anurag said that Ileana is the main protagonist female.

Ileana's sweetness reminds me of Genelia's sweetness. She is also not an attention seeker or talkative (not that all talkative people are attention seekers) and lets others take the podium. Yet she talks well when she does. She is just a really sweet girl. This is what makes others pull her legs because she is so nice. I wish her all the best. Being so sweet, very cute, and desirable, am sure she has a line of men waiting to date her. Is she seeing anyone? Or was she?

Then I guess you were spared from his cringe inducing/absolutely terrible performances in Yaadein and Mein Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, but to be fair, his costars and the films in general were absolutely terrible as well.
Ileana is definitely all Indian, she was born in Mumbai (according to her Wikipedia page).

I can't remember Yaadein that well except for the fact that it was an extremely long movie with OTT songs and weird backdrops and very melodramatic script but I do remember MPKDH because it's one of my favourites and I don't think he overacted in that either. I guess you can say I STAN for Hrithik lol. KITES was the only one that irked me so much that it was inexcusable and maybe the Zindagi movie from last year.
Barfi is HIT just because of RANBIR RANBIR and RANBIR......

What is Priyanka doing there? why can't it be Illeana and Ranbir alone in one interview? Priyanka never misses a promotion for a film. She just loves to get dress up and show off. No wonder Karan only had one promotion for Agneepath. Smart guy that.. KARAN JOHAR! :)

people like you make me cringe! Priyanka is a big part of Barfi! Why should she miss promoting the film? You should get your brain's logic side checked out. It's not in working condition currently.
@Voiceswriter, Illeana was born and brought in Mumbai. She comes from a Goan, Catholic brackground and as Mystic Rose said, she's done a number of films in the south. She was actually spotted first for some modeling assignments and had a meeting with Marc Robinson. Her life in the glamour industry took off from there.

HR always overact be it yedeyen, Main prem ki diwani hoon, Guzarish, kites. And he takes 2-3 years for preparing. But Ranbir is effortless.

@MysticRose the only film where I've found Hrithik OTT-over-acting was KITES. That film had potential but it went horribly wrong somehow.

I googled her for you: shes done Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films and several of them have been blockbusters and she has received critical acclaim for her first Bollywood film (Barfi), shes on a career high right now so I guess thats where the 'unlike a newcomer' part comes from.
I have seen enough Illeana Cruz interviews, she is so irritating and very unlike a newcomer. Maybe she has been an actress in Spain before coming to India. Forgive me if she's not from Spain but I can't even bring myself to research her right now, just going based on her name.

so ayushi u think mr overacting hrithik roshan would have done a better job.guess u didnt see kites or u r just jealous as ranbir never needed his dads help to survive in the industry unlike mr roshan.
