I am sick of word flop movie........every flop movie is not a bad movie and every hit movie is not a good movie. people today care too much about BO success. I feel people watch hit movies, when there is a perception if movie will be hit or not before film releases that is the movie people watch and it's a pity.
So it shows how important an opening of the movie is. anyways it was not related to this news but about comments of the people. So many people have use word flop in their comments and that shows hot important hit and flop for them is.
Lot of people love movie 'Andaj Apana Apana' with Salman, Amir, Karishma and Raveena. Almost all the people met who discussed this movie loved it and praised it. But do you know this movie was flop at BO. at that time there was no internet and less media so this is not widespread. but it shocked me when I found that it was flop movie and did not recover 10cr. cost. Today can you think of any Amir / salman movie as flop? especially masala movie........never. do you know why? it is all about perception/internet/marketing, using television to spread their popularity to even smaller towns. All three khans started before media became very big around 2003/04 by that time they established themselves. they never had to compete with anyone part from their own contemporaries. They never had to compete with previous super star Amitabh Bachaan who was already started his downward journey after his accident in 1982. All three khans debuted around 1988 and 1991 which was way after big B's downward journey. So there was big vacuum in the industry, these three filled it and established it and took advantage of media later in 2000 to become mega stars and not giving chances to today's young generations as with internet/youtube you can repeat their films and still stay in the memories of people. It is hard battle for new stars to be as big as these 3. I surprised to see that young generation who always wants variety is not expecting it from these khans and is not tired of them. I hope stardom finishes with khans and that will give Indian Cinema real liberty and that will real golden period of Cinema again.

Priyanka is awesome! All the criticism directed towards her is extremely unfair. She's one of the rare people in the Indian film industry who has made it on her own without any connections, without family members launching her or any of that. If you are the child/niece/nephew/family member of someone in the industry, you're given so many more chances. You can suck as an actor and give flop after flop and you're still given chances (e.g., Abishaek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, etc.), but for someone outside the industry, you have to really believe in yourself and show the world that you have what it takes.
I also think people confuse her confidence for arrogance. And about the way she speaks- yeah, she speaks with a bit of an American accent, but that's because she lived in the US for a few years. So, what's wrong with that? People don't criticize Saif for not speaking with a typical Indian accent. I don't think her accent or her "coolness" is fake. That's just who she is- urban, hip, cosmopolitan.
I think Indians are really unfair towards women like Aishwarya and Priyanka because they've made it big on their own and they don't apologize for it. Indians see that as arrogance. People even criticized AR Rahman for becoming too "hollywood" when he won the Oscars. Indians like to keep others Indians down. That's the real truth. When it comes to Indian women- confidence almost always translates to "oh, she thinks she's better than everyone else".
Give me a break! We should be proud of women like Priyanka and Aishwarya who are making it on their own in a very male dominated industry. Who cares if their accents change a bit because of spending time abroad- that's bound to happen. Being able to adapt the way you speak according to your surroundings is a admirable quality- especially for an actor.
As an modern Indian women in her 20's, I think Priyanka (although not perfect) is a much better role model than most women in the Indian film industry. She's well-spoken, charismatic, hard working, independent and evolving. These are qualities that Indian women throughout the world should adopt.

Why is she saying she was 17 when her first film came out? Andaaz came out in 2003 and her birthday is in 1982, so apparently she was 21...she freaking needs to stop lying about this stuff, then she says she only been in the industry for for 5-6 years come on...if she came at 17 and now she is going to be 30 so she has been in the industry for 13 years...she is fake and a loser
