sonakshi is lovely. good actor dancer. she reminds me juhi chawla
shahid is short slim and a bit baby face. that makes
him much younger than he is but i think in this video they are good pair!

Anonymous's picture

The white sands and the camels in the background--- Wow!!!

Anonymous's picture

seems Sonakshi and Shahid entertaining so much while shooting the song, actually that makes all Sonkashi film hits and blockbusters, Sona is so lovable girl and brings always happiness on the sets.
love their pairing, they both are great dancers

queenbee2709's picture

Oh Shahid what happened to you?? After Jab We Met and Kaminey I was sure you were going to be the next big thing but your film choices have been rubbish!!! And who thought it was a good idea to
pair Sonakshi with him she is treble his size??!!

Another do not watch for me!!

Anonymous's picture

The song has life...colors, moves and unpredictable background activity. I like it and i'm liking the sona/sasha combo too. But yes, typical prabhudeva!

Morisim's picture

Prabu Deva is the right choreographer for shahid. He Brings out Shahid's talent with dance. Gandi Baat is My Favorite, The dance moves is unlike anything the Heroes in Bollywood are doing.

Anonymous's picture

yh agree with u , we need some dances like this no roshan electronic moves sorry

Anonymous's picture

Too good.... llloovee Shahid Kapoor!!!

Anonymous's picture

Very entertaining and novel song!!! Shahid Kapoor is simply awesome :)) and Sonakshi matches him step for step....

Anonymous's picture

What an overdose of chennai wala dance.....and punctuating every line with w "Re" like south indians tend to do!!! Is this a new trend coming up??? stomp stomp, thrust thrust, robotic facial movements ending in a peck on the cheek.... and whats with the "Scratch kiya re" . Good ad for Khujali medication.....
Its like choreographers' are facing creative burnout!!

Anonymous's picture

This is a fun song with creative/innovative choreography. The lead actors are clearly having fun with the song, the steps and the cute little scenes. There is random humor with that guy running around....

Llllloooooveeee it!!!!!! Each time I watch the video, I see something new that is funny or cute...

Naveed's picture

I absolutely LOVE the song. Both Shahid and Sonakshi are rocking in the song.

It does remind one of the great songs that Govinda and Raveena/Karishma used to do.

Anonymous's picture

Mann aur dil dono Kush hua gaana Dekhe. Vidya balan was the 1 who looked like an aunty with shahid. she is also older than him. Sonakshis best pairing has come with shahid. Shahid super talented guy.

Anonymous's picture

Sonakshi can't match up to Shahid. Only actress to ever match up to him (by his own admission), is Rani Mukerji.

art_lover's picture

I love the energy of the song. The music, choreography and the set(bright, colorful) is great. It is very south Indian like and since I am a south Indian I love it! what a great song to hear in the car while you are trying not to doze off :-D

Gohar's picture

Sonakshi looks too mature for Shahid, she is like his elder sister... can't believe that Prabhu saw them as a couple.

Anonymous's picture

true....but shahid has a baby face, he looks young in front of lots of the actress.

Anonymous's picture

I see Sonakshi is still making hay whilst the sun shines, but if you keep making the same crop the sun will soon stop shining. And as for Shahid still trying, still failing.

Bored.

Anonymous's picture

So South Indian movie like.. Thumbs down

Anonymous's picture

The song is actually not that bad, better than most of the garbage thats been going around lately.
-Sonakshi and Shahid actually make a really cute couple(hope they date in real life too)

Voiceswriter's picture

same to same.

Anonymous's picture

Shahid looks awfully tiny in this song LOL. Him and sonakshi are almost the same height. But apart from that, Shahid is a great actor!

Anonymous's picture

She posted a picture with the dark blue skirt and hair up style.. its very different from the video! She always look fairer and slimmer in the pics she posts on twitter. Embrace who you are, I think you r beautiful.. no need to whiten ur pics and slimmer it down!!

Anonymous's picture

Awesome Sonakshi Shahid jodi

Anonymous's picture

Really you want songs that are intellectually stimulating! Most people listen to songs to hear a great beat with some catchy lyrics. I understand there are beautiful songs with meaningful lyrics but obviously this in not the intention of this movie.

Stop being bias about what kinds of songs you want to listen to and don`t. Variety is the spice of life.

P.S. Liking this song does not correlate with an individual`s intellectual bandwith.

Loving it! :)

Anonymous's picture

Watching this over and over again for shahid's dance...loving the song because of th Dance, I don't care bout the lyrics, over all rocking song because of shahid's dance and. Choreography

Anonymous's picture

shahid is the best dancer in bollywood

Anonymous's picture

Shahid danced really amazingly well in this song

Anonymous's picture

what is up with the songs these days. Tooh and now this...what is happening to Bollywood? :(

Anonymous's picture

Lyrics are so stupid.
Can see the trademark Prabhu Deva expressions and steps.
I like that Sonakshi is the only young heroine who is making bringing the traditional heroine back and making it glamorous. Everyone else of her generation look the same, prancing about in minis.

Anonymous's picture

Sonakshi is boring to death! she looks the same in every movie, every dance is the same & same over acting with her expressions. Please take a break for all our sake.

Anonymous's picture

Prabhudeva written all over the song..sonakshi has same expressions in all the songs

bollybuffer's picture

"touch kar ke dil mera kyun scratch kiya re" LMAO. who's the song writer? this song remind me of Govinda style song and dance. Shahid too is a superb dancer-- Sonakshi can't seem to keep up with it. But i think the fun of the songs are in the expressions of these two.
this looks more fun than bullet raja, but gotta admit, she looks older than shahid. older, more mature, bigger and they have different vibes-- it looks like two friends dancing. very platonic, no chemistry kinda dancing.

YusufKhan's picture

Good beat, Shahid dances like no ones business, Sonakshi should just go on a break for a year, give people a chance to miss you, seen enough of you since dabangg.

Anonymous's picture

It is remake of Telugu Movie King

Anonymous's picture

It is remake of Telugu movie 'King'

Anonymous's picture

I really like the song. Absolutely love both Shahid and Sonakshi in this song, surprised how well sonakshi dances and her expressions are just right - not too under or over.

Anonymous's picture

Agree.. the chemistry - fun - seem effortless dancing by Shahid & Sonakhsi.
And good to see Sonakshi's (not so typical Dabangg) expressions here.

Anonymous's picture

Fun and good song...like the choreography as well.

Anonymous's picture

the Prabhudeva touch is also very visible in the song..Really admire the fact that Shahid does all those crazy moves and comes across as so comfortable and loveable..Sonakshi on the other hand, lacks the grace and is trying too hard..wish it was some other actress..

Anonymous's picture

They look cute together! I liked the choreography!

Anonymous's picture

Such a fun, cute, colorful, happy song!! And Shahid-Sona take it to a different level with their charm and chemistry !!! Shahid-Prabhudeva -- is dance magic!!

Anonymous's picture

sonakshi's look and shahid's meting smile at 1:28 to 1:32.......killer!!

Anonymous's picture

Same here, i replayed to see that scene couple of times. I really like their jodi

Anonymous's picture

Bollywood movies nowadays are mostly a remake of telugu/tamil movies.

Anonymous's picture

I love Shahid Kapoor, but I expect better dancing than this from him and Prabhudeva! He's doing the same types of dancing in all of his latest songs.

Anonymous's picture

I had a big smile plastered on my face throughout! Such a fun n catchy tune! Love the choreography and both of them look adorable!

Kitty's picture

I liked the song!

Anonymous's picture

Sonakshi's expressions >>>

@LordVoldemort: I like sonakshi but I agree..i wish she experimented with her roles more.

Anonymous's picture

This song is utter copy of tamil song from sarvam movie starring arya and trisha...pd always like to copy down something from there to here...

Blue PANG's picture

I'm pretty sure only the locations are the same (the flags and the Kutch region) as Siragugal from Sarvam, but the song itself is not a copy at all.
That's like saying DDLJ is a copy of Chandni because both shot in Switzerland...

Anonymous's picture

I loveeeee everything abt this video!! He's so cute with his cute outfits :D

Anonymous's picture

Very entertaining

Anonymous's picture

sweet song nice choreography

Anonymous's picture

I love this

Anonymous's picture

Wow, I was smiling thruout the song. Shahid is the real talent of Bollywood. Reminded me of many govinda & karishma nos. sonakshis pairing with shahid is looking so good. The chemistry is very evident. They r gonna burn the screen with their intense chemistry. Ha made me very happy watching this song. Hats off prabhudeva & shahid kapoor

Anonymous's picture

Wow this why love bollywood.....asian dances and great expressions...this wil be hit a+

LordVoldemort's picture

Shahid can make anything good, what can I say about this man's sheer awesomeness? Sonakshi, on the other hand... I used to really like her but I am sick of seeing her in every film doing the exact same thing-one Lootera isn't enough. It'd be fine if she acknowledged it but her attitude is so off. Saying things like she's doing better than "skinny minnies" & more successful than most actresses & throws really barbed remarks in every interview. She comes across as unbearably arrogant (whether she is or not). Sure, she's three years old & most actresses start off as arm candy (but she has opportunities to do meaty roles, she just doesn't want to) but they had some variation in their acting style & character. Sonakshi is the exact same in Rowdy Rathore, Son Of Sardaar, Joker, Dabangg 2, OUATIM2 & judging by the promos, she's playing the same character in R... Rajkumar & Bullet Raja.

Anonymous's picture

I agree 100%. Does Prabudeva know there are hotter, sexier, more talented heroines in Bollywood who have better chemistry with the heroes than the very limited in range, Sonakshi? This is why I don't care for his movies - she's in all of them! WTF??? She's arrogant just like her father. What a turn off! I'd rather see Shahid with, Priyanka, Alia, Deepika, Ileana, Anushka etc. Ick!!!! This reminds me of Karan Johar who keeps making flop movies with conceited, flop actress, Kareena, just because of their friendship. Just because he likes her doesn't mean the paying audience does. Her new movie with Imran will flop too.

Anonymous's picture

Just love this. Bought an instant smile on my face. Very enjoyable, so colorful & vibrant. Specially liked the man running with that instrument. Shahids expressions & dance superb.

Anonymous's picture

sooooo nice love it. love the colors :D shahid and sona looks so cute

KumKumDolly's picture

Like the song and while aesthetically Sonakshi and Shahid look nice together, they don't have any chemistry between them. That's what's lacking from this, otherwise it's a cutsey, fun promo.

Anonymous's picture

Too much Sonakshi, she's driving me mad. Why is she in every film, doing the same thing?

Kitty's picture

Agree. I wish it was another heroine, anybody but Sonakshi!

Also, I never understand the misplaced nostalgia of people who complain that Bollywood is going downhill. The eighties were all about graphic rape scenes, the nineties had tons of sexually suggestive songs and scenes, and women were portrayed in the most sexist way possible. Maybe there were fewer bikinis, but the camera angles were even more shamelessly exploitative. Not every film from the eighties/nineties was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Lamhe, you guys. Most of them were incredibly tacky and shoddily made. At least today, if you don't want to watch a Rowdy Rathore or a R...Rajkumar, you can go watch a Lunchbox or a Lootera. More choices, more variety, better films. I definitely prefer Bollywood in 2013 to Bollywood in the past.

------

Seriously! There have always been bad films and good films, in Bollywood and other industries. Stop whining about it and just don't go see the movie.

I AM DONE WITH BOLLYWOOD! It is not going to change ever. Just getting worse.

Good, then you can stop coming to Pinkvilla and we won't have to read your comments.

Pinkvilla won't post this but whatever.

Anonymous's picture

They tried ripping a Telugu song but that has lots of grace and sonakshi seriously lacks that

+ 1 Totally agree!

Anonymous's picture

ITA .
The 80s had mostly crappy films with bad storylines, starring Jeetender and Sridevi dancing in bharatnatyam costumes in parks.
The 90s had a major Govinda-Karishma wave of "vulgar" songs trend, no different from the item songs of today.Bollywood has been the same for the last 30 years.

Although , I miss the serious art films being made till the 80s, Om puri,Naseer, smita patil etc, and those cute Farookh Sheikh-Deepti Naval rom-coms that were so down to earth and unpretentious. They don't make those anymore.

I agree !! you spoke my mind !! I like this song !! it has a melody and some nice moves.. much better thn the priyanka song in ram leela :O

KumKumDolly's picture

Well said.

Anonymous's picture

Nicely said!

DorianGray's picture

I think this song is fun and silly and kinda adorable. The choreography is inventive, and the colors really pop. And I like Sonakshi so much better with these younger guys; her natural joie de vivre comes out more.

eclipse's picture

i yearn for the days when he had melodious songs by kumar sanu, udit narayan, sonu nigam, abhijit, alka yagnik etc...such talented artists all out of work now:(

i agree with you bollywood is loosing its charm in few years it will become all about lust and girls dancing in bikinis or movies like this with some stupid dancing and expressions i just miss the old bollywood after 2005 its going down the hill

Anonymous's picture

I agree, I am starting to get over Bollywood too, now that Katrina is a number 1 heroine. I am not saying that she is not. she clearly is, and that confounds me...

Anonymous's picture

Whats disturbing is not how awful this video/song is.....but the number of people saying they love this. Are you all going to vote in the general elections of the country as well? Shudder....

Anonymous's picture

WTH!? I LOVE THIS! because it is Entertaining and it makes me smile. My intelligence, political and social Activities or Education has nothing to do with it! But not sure about U! Stop being judgmental, because someone likes this kind of Masala films.
> If You Don't Like It = DON'T WATCH IT! <
"general elections of the country" has nothing to do with a masala Movies!
