The horror of common names - Rajeev Masand
This week's Open Magazine article, written by Rajeev Masand. This one really made me think hard ;-). Few actresses would be foolish enough to send birthday greetings to a famously pissed-off wife of an actor she’s having a rip-roaring affair with. But as it turns out, that’s exactly what one leading heroine did a few years ago, albeit inadvertently. In her enthusiasm to wish a producer-friend’s younger sister (who happens to share the same name as her then actor-boyfriend’s wife), this actress reportedly sent a mobile text message to a friend asking for the birthday girl’s number. Misunderstanding whose number she was being asked for, the friend in return sent the actor’s wife’s number, puzzled as hell why the actress would ask for the wife’s number but too embarrassed to enquire. The actress then apparently dashed off a friendly birthday greeting, thinking she was sending it to her producer-friend’s sister. When she didn’t receive a reply even until a few days later, she decided to find out if she had the correct number. Which is when she realised the horror of what she’d done. To make matters worse, she learnt that it was in fact the actor’s wife’s birthday only a few days later. The actor’s wife didn’t respond. You wouldn’t believe where she was at the time—on a luxury cruise with her husband, enjoying a private holiday. It’s a miracle the husband wasn’t thrown overboard after that message landed in the wife’s mobile inbox.

These star wives need to quit blaming the actresses and starting some nasty campaign against them. Stop giving the husbands free passes.

It's not up to the "star wives" to feel anything one way or the other about Priyanka and they can blame whom they please. After all, they are the ones insulted and in pain. What makes you think they DON'T get on their husbands in the privacy of their homes?
It's natural to want to hurt someone who is a party to hurting you at any rate so that's what women like Priyanka should be prepared for.
Not that SRK or any of the men are innocent. They are like drug addicts and sure you blame the drug addict who buys the junk when they know better but if some dealer is constantly trying to tempt them into falling into the trap you'll hardly hold the person who is trying to entice them for years and years blameless either.
Priyanka played the game so now she has to be a big girl and take the name--and her PR people should keep their alternative morality schtup. It's making Priyanka even more hated than she would have been had she just screwed the men and stopped trying to have her PR justify her. No one trusts her and she brought that all down on herself.

Yeah..and the scariest part is that she will Never leave Bollywood...she will be here forever. I feel so sorry for the people in India. They will have Priyanka in their faces all the time. Someone should advice her to give us a much needed break. I wish God would wrap up the world now. These bollywood actors/actresses thinks too greatly of themselves.

SRK-PC rumor was started on Pinkvilla - a few months back. This was by one person - or a group maybe. Some disgusted people ranting - or someone with a purpose.
Baseless allegations on unrelated posts. Every post whether related or not - had some random comment about SRK and PC.
Succeeded!! This incident teaches a lesson - A lie if repeated a 1000 times is considered a truth.
I also want to spread some rumors - which I wish were true -

Yes I agree with you totally! The baseless rumor about SRK was started on Pinkvilla by a person or a group with the only purpose of tarnishing SRK's image! Too bad they failed! They are still barking, but no one is listening. Low life losers with nothing else to do except spread baseless rumors. They will all rot in hell! But before that karma will come into effect and they all will suffer from the same thing they did to SRK, baseless rumors will be spread about them and they will shout from roof tops that they are not true, but no one will listen to them.

Almost certainly Priyanka ,Akshay & Tina. Like Moimeme says,Tina is a pretty common name to make mistakes about. Priyanka was probably doing some apple polishing to the producer.
