@Samia Khan, there's no point of fighting with others. There are many stories that Deepika cheated but let's just put it to rest. We don't know THE ACTUAL details of everything. Even if Ranbir did cheat, we know him really through his work and yes so far, without being biased, I can say he has the talent to stay in the industry. Before his image was the chocolate boy (he did well in those roles) but I was surprised to see him what he did in Rockstar. That was brilliant. Whether the film was directed well or not, is not the question but the fact that he is able to play gray shades well makes me wanna pat his back.

@fmlreally - well whether Katrina-Ranbir were "platonic" or not at the time of Rajneeti, I obviously can't vouch for it. As the crew member stated, there was nothing shown in public. We should also remember that desi people (generally) are quick to judge a friendship between a guy and a girl. Now this being said, yes they could've been very well in a relationship but either way, we don't know. Deepika made a ruckus in Bhopal and I understand her insecurities. I mean Katrina is not exactly and ugly woman and in this industry, where nothing remains constant, it's very easy to get insecured. I do sympathise with her but also, I don't know how much Ranbir tried to calm her down or reassured her, but everyone has a breaking point and as per that, he broke up with her. It's a case of all things going wrong for both of them.
All I'm saying is let's not "hate" these celebrities since we have no clue of them personally and we only "know" them through what the media portrays.

Okay, here it goes to both Ranbir and Deepika fans. I like both of them-Ranbir is definitely here to stay and he's improved his acting skills by far. Deepika is hot, sensuous and she has "the look" many filmmakers want for their character and yes, I thought she did well in Cocktail. So I read this comment a couple of months ago when the whole Ranbir-Deepika scene was being revived. Now I can’t vouch for 100% authenticity but to me it made sense and I’m willing to give it the benefit of my doubt.

So Ranbir implicitly agreed that he was “talking to other girls” while he was with Deepika I believe. But what really pissed Deepika off was the Katrina angle in the story. Now here comes the version from the on-looker who chose to remain unidentified. Apparently, it is Bollywood’s one of the best kept secrets. This on-looker is a crew member of the film Rajneeti. Hearing all the stories and media hyping up Ranbir-Katrina friendship (which the crew member says, at the time was simply being friendly with your colleague). They were nothing more than that at the time. Deepika used to constantly call and text Ranbir and he used to be in terrible mood. Then once, she even showed up to the shoot in Bhopal (I think that’s he/she said) and created a scene. After that, Ranbir decided to call it quits.
It’s true that Ranbir broke up with Deepika contrary to popular belief. Also, I heard something very similar even before this screw member came out and spoke about it on a blogging site.
But now, instead of bashing them, let's just agree that they have sorted out their differences and they're both in a good place together, whether they are in a relationship or just a friendship.
