Rani and Preity, will they make a comeback?
Even though their contemporary Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is still going strong In Bollywood At 35, the slightly younger Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee are no where to be seen? Unfortuanately, they have faded away! They were actresses who were acting in the biggest hits with the biggest actors and had great roles in all their films. They were not arm candy like Katrina and Deepika. It's a shame what the bollywood heroine has become and that we do not have TALENTED actresses like Rani and Preity around. I hope they make a comeback. Do you think they can ever reach the status they had three years ago?

Well i read these comments which were written long time ago, n to some who said rani n preity need to give newcomers chance, i hope u ve been subjected to d non existing talent of sonam, fatrina n deepika, oh so much 4 talent! Rani was always a good actor, she never went anywhr firstly, n i think there s more in her... Preity too should come back, only these 2 were ever called actors- mayb kareena but she overacts n def vidya...
N plz dont call ash as some superior coz she didnt suck up to d khans... Rani n preity never did tat either... They both nearly debuted with d khans, esp rani- kkhh n ghulam, dont say she s sucking up to them...trashwariya never got along with d khans becoz d khans were good frnds before, n her breakup n tat vivek episode made them wary bout her... Anyway she cant act either...paaa didnt teach her or his son anything bout acting...
Well i knw dis post s from d past, but c today, rani had a bang comeback, i actually dont wanna call it a comeback, but sadly tats how ppl call it...n preity s still busy with ipl , hope she ll too, but she has done some stupid surgery n looks older than she actually is, dont knw y she did it... But atleast rani s here to stay, nokj, aamir s movie, doing a bong movie- africa, n i heard she ll b working for anurag kashyap s movie
Ash didn't suck up to the Khans or the big banners like Rani and Preity did. Ironically, they were the same ones who ditched the both!
I'm hopeful about Rani. She's more talented and has got solid star power to back her. Also ardent fans all over the world. Plus, she has maintained her looks so well.
She's No One Killed Jessica coming up.... and she's signed Aamir Khan's next !!! She's already back B-)
preity is 33 & rani is 32. but they r looking 26-27. & they are
looking "girls" undoubtely. but other actreses look like "lady".

I think its more abt money, these actresses ask for larger amounts. So if in today's low budget(from heroin's rate point of view) movies,directors cant afford them.
i really think that its not about acting in bollywood anymore. the directors are looking for a pretty face, a nice figure, hotness etc... aish will also join preity and rani soon. all 3 are great actresses but the whole package counts nowadays

all rani ever does in most of her movies is cry and nag about the men in her life (have not seen black so cant comment on that) ...And then she cries like a horse ( Her voice) ...I think she's just focusing on her real life for now and not reel...I found her and abhi's jodi the best!...They were so complementary and real (Even if it was on reel)....really wish they wud do more movies together! And I also think she didnt wanna be on a diet anymore lol... but I heard for hadippa she lost alot of weight
despite being so busy wid ipl, preity still does films...but rani being free still doesnt do movies....like last year preity did heroes, the last lear n a cameo in rab ne banadi jodi, whereas rani did only thoda pyar thoda magic n a cameo in rnbj.....even dis year preity already has had a release in videsh-heaven on earth, to follow will be har pal n main aur mrs khanna n we also hear dat she has been signed 4 yash chopra's next, but rani has only hadippa cumin up, with no news of ny new films dat she has signd...

I think it's about time Preity and Rani stop acting in Yash Raj Films, I think they should give other actresses a chance, there are other good production houses and producers! Its boring and very repetitive seeing them in yash raj films constantly. take rani for example, she starred apposite Saif in 3 yash raj films, 2 of them flopped, give others a chance, I would like to see Sonam Kapoor, Tabu, Raveena, Karisma, Juhi, Sushmita, Shilpa in some yash raj films! No offence to Preity Rani Fans, I am not dissing them, I think both are wonderful actresses who should try and do other films outside yash raj films!

2. Yes these 2 ladies were fantiastic actors in their own right and shouldnt kill their career so young. Just cant wait to see their forthcoming talent. With due respect to the good looks of Deepika, Sonam and Katrina, the sure need to work on their acting. They are taking their time getting there unline Rani or Preity who were good almost from the beginning.

preity awesome: kya kehna, dil se, kal ho na ho, rani awesome in general. sonam awesome in nothing except magazine covers...a shrill laugh which sounds like a cry and 20 min appearances in the last movie, deepika only good in oso, not in any other movie really yet! both tall, thats the real only difference!
