Talaash Postponed yet again.. to 2013!

the only reason aamir is producing is so that he can control everything, inc the release. some producers give free reign to their directors but not mr perfectionist. he will do whatever HE thinks is right...to hell with everyone else.

one year without a rani performance! i cannot even imagine that! hope they don't postponed aiyya!

Who cares? I don't think so anybody cares any more for this movie! It has been in the making for God knows how many years now and it has lost its appeal and novelty! Many thrillers have come and gone while this is still in the making...and even if still a few dedicated souls are caring about this movie, with one more delay even hey won't care. Aamir Khan should stop thinking that his every movie will be 3 Idiot! If 3 Idiots made so much money, it was cause of Rajkumar Hirani, not Aamir Khan!

I'm so sick of Aamir's behaviour. He's a good actor and a star, but this is getting too much. He's postponed Dhoom 3 twice and now Talaash (again). I'm a fan of Rani and Kareena and I've been looking forward to this film since I first heard about it. Now we have to wait even longer. I think he needs to sttop being 'Mr Perfectionist' and be 'Mr Professional' for once.

I thought it was postponed because of Kareena's wedding plans!!

I was so looking forward to watch this movie in 2012! Amir is a brilliant actor and everything but he needs to stop hijacking every project hes in, this movie is essentially Reema's vision, not his!

Will all the angry but ignorant people writing here just think before writing? Aamir is the producer of this film--his production cost is the major part -- Excel are just co-producers. So aamir's delaying the film will simply add to his cost.

Don't even bother to talk about Amole Gupte and Anusha Rizvi. Amol Gupte directed 3 scenes, was found to be falling short, and then a joint decision was made by Amole -Aamir so as not to lose time--Aamir directed with Amole present on sets as creative director and writer. Aamir did a good job and Amol went on to make his own Stanley Ka Dabba later on. Amole raised a hue and cry prior to TZP release, but later in many interviews he has talked about the situation in a more calm manner, agreeing that whatever was done was best for situation.

Anusha Rizvi is one ungrateful ****h. Aamir did not interfere with her direction one bit--he was present on the sets just one day, at the location. She accompanied aamir to Sundance festival in the US where Peepli Live was premiered, talked to public and media, had no problems with Aamir (Aamir's blogger fans have met Anusha-aamir at Sundance and seen their happy interaction) -- and yet a few months down the line starts acting like this injured woman --I have absolutely no sympathy for this woman and her intellectual snob of a husband. Have read their interviews on media--they come across as this snob couple who think they are too good for Bollywood; wanted aamir to publicize the film in the low-key manner of an NFDC financed govt film. Why didn't they just stick to their Delhi intellectual circle, make a film with the Delhi - govt finance-DD-film club circle-film walas? Why take in the benefit of Aamir's name and then cry foul when he tried to publicize the film in his manner? Anusha Rizvi directed the film well enough --but her behaviour was despicable. She ended up unnecessarily making aamir look like some sort of a villian.

And people here taking the same attitude with Aamir viz-a-viz Talaash. Agreed that Talaash should not be unnecessarily postponed--but if the film flops after a November release (untouched, in its present state)--will the public bother to castigate Reema Katgi? No! It will be Aamir facing the music of a half-baked film's flop status.

Remember Delhi Belly and its heavily delayed release. The media was full of stories about Aamir's unhappiness with the film as it was then; there was talk of the film needing to be heavily edited to make sense. Abhinay deo was said to be unhappy at the delay; Aamir was sitting with the film's editor and trying to make the film a cohesive piece that would make sense to an audience. Finally, even after a delayed release, Delhi Belly worked well with the audience.

I do hope that Talaash gets released in reasonable time, with all concerned being happy with the film. But stop dissing and cursing aamir. The man knows what he is doing. Katgi's Honeymoon Travels was decent enough but no great shakes. She has to do better with this one. And she is said to be one ball of temper, besides being a maverick of sorts. During Talaash shooting, she was said to have shouted at actors. Aamir apparently played peacemaker on occasions. I do hope peace prevails in Talaash camp.

Probably scared to release it during Srks next movie release. He knows Taalash isn't all that compared to his Ghajni and 3 Idiots.

i dnt agree people saying aamir should stick in acting.His personal contributions and experience always goes into a movie irrespective of him not being the director. He tries to give a 110% perfection and people who did movies with him understand that.

i already read this awful news yesterday ... *sigh*
it was the only film i was waiting for this year :(

Huh! Aamir should not have any say in the movie making , he is just an actor, always he has trouble with his director, tries to take over the film and yes all the credit too, remember tare zameen par? It was completely done by Amole Gupte , but this cheap guy took all the credit.

this dude should start directing! this is so disrespectful IMHO! the director is the captain of the ship. amir should stick to acting
