oh naveed - you are SUCH a breath of fresh air. good to know someone else on this site is reasonable and has their mentality intact. ash IS a buddi and plastic clownface. she ruined her life, which she thinks = her career, by maligning salman. isn't it amazing that salman managed to remain friends w/every single one of his so-called exes, some of which are not even in bollywood? ash keeps acting like a child that she can't even take his name and salman is all chill and has no problem talking about her, much less taking her name. honestly, i think SHE is still in love with him; she became an icicle since she created the whole, pooh pooh he hit me debacle. look at youtube videos, nothing can beat whatever little genuiness she let shine through when she was dating salman, unlike her ridiculously contrived hoity-toity image w/abhi and her lover amitabh. she has absolutely NO substance. isn't it amazing that salman always used to say that ash loves her parents too much (too much to actually follow her heart and stay with him); btw salman is a huge mama's boy too. he would never mistreat women like that. as someone else pointed out, she got thrown out of numerous films before she hired a surrogate and had amitabh announce that a grandchild was on the way (very clever, he never specified that ash herself was pregnant). she is nothing; russell was right she does NOT know how to act and made her through the industry via several casting couches w/salman, vivek, and numerous other directors.
kitty we all understand that u hate Salman but posting rubbish makes you seem even stupider. Even at the lowest of his career, he was and Inshallah will always be ahead of the Bachchans. If you mean the person who is claiming that they read something about Aishwarya on a "french website" (but disappear when they are asked to post the link), the only inside info they probably have is of from a looney bin! And the one who claims to know all about SRK/PC is equally full of it, just like how some try to grab eyeballs by bringing Aishwarya and SRK into topics that don't concern them.
Anyway, IMO these 2 never dated, but I think it was most likely a business arrangement for publicity. Her career was flying high, and though he was flopping for most of the decade, his name was always in the news due to their reported linkup.

Poor salman, I feel so bad for him. He really does look like he is in pain. I hope he gets better soon and gives us many more hits. And I also wish for his sake that he gets married to a very nice girl ( not a bollywood actress) and have lots and lots of kids....=)
