Both Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif talk to ABP News before the release of their film 'Ek Tha Tiger' on August 15. Salman says that Katrina has definitely something to become a star in the film industry.

Seriously the most awakward interview I have ever watched, lol. I'm a huge Salman fan, but in this interview he was annoying me for some reason. Too serious, sarcastic and just unhappy. And Katrina....how can someone who doesn't speak a word of hindi be considered one of the the top stars in bollywood?

bodyguard success credit doesnt go to katrina at all. i have seen the movie 3x in theater but noone i mean noone screamed for katrina when shes came on the screen....but when salman & kareena came on screen....ppl were screaming yelling dancing...it was crazy i have ever seen ppl act like that before it was fun...n it was all for salman & kareena. bodyguard was a hit....cus of the song....the story ( the ending was beautiful..beautifully done by salman & kareena)....n salman kareena jodi....n their acting!!

Salman has changed over the years. He used to come across so westernized and fun loving type.
Now,20 years (!!) on, he's become so serious, full of lecture-baazi , more hindi-speaking , and a boring no-nonsense type. He expects people to do as he says, unquestioningly.
No wonder he has ego-clashes with other similarly sized egos, like SRK . Katrina is expected to sit by like an obedient student, not like a respected co-star on an equal footing.
How can he complain about the excessive media-attention when he's raking in ,literally, 100s of crores (in such a poor country) with his home productions of his movies. It comes with the mega-star territory, they need to deal with it.
I hate that snorting noise thing he does constantly.

What in the world are ppl talking abt discomfort here? They look super comfortable, like an old married couple, who are unashamed to bicker in public. It's really cute. And what Salman said abt Chikni Chameli is true, even I felt like she looked like she was gg to have a seizure anytime soon during tt song.

Guys, what are you all talking about? they look fine. It's how Salman's style is. There is nothing passive-aggressive there for Kat. Granted, it was a bit slow (but atleast they were giving thoughtful answers) and Kat wasn't participating as much (maybe she was just tired) but except for a bit of awkwardness especially when talking about the earlier days, there is nothing more there. Kat obviously really respects Salman and there is no way Salman would say anything to her about Ranbir. They seemed perfectly fine. Salman's very intelligent (and funny while he is being so serious) and Kat looks gorgeous. Her smile is beautiful.

he only knows his rejuvcenated career is due to sonakshi sinha, he is sooo comfortable with her.,and sonakshi is well spoken and down to earth.. this movie is not so good with kat becos she can't spk hindi an d the dancing was awful for chekni chamelo, no expression because she can't understand the meaning of the words...

I noticed the passive aggressiveness too. Sallu looked angry at her and she was just being too akward. she could of at least answered some questions with more depth instead of saying i don't know. maybe he was angry at her for the whole rk rumor.

And that's what i was thinking! At one point in the interview, I actually felt sort of sorry for Katrina. Like she was doing all she could to keep things light-- that explains the uncomfortable laughter, looking down, playing with her bracelet, almost looking to the interviewer for help. Please don't let those Salman Khan abuse rumors be true :(
Can you picture him having said something super-mean and degrading to her (regarding the rk rumor) just prior to the interview. Kind of explains the stiffness, tension, and passive aggression. But that's just me and the movie that plays inside my head, haha...
if the movie works its bcoz of katrina and if it does its bcoz of me and addi....this has sarcasm written all over it. In a way he has killed her long made PR work of snatching someone else's credit and make it her own. i wonder post movie what he has to say

That was just all shades of awkward. Did anyone else notice how palpable the passive aggressiveness was in this interview? What is going on?? I love Salman Khan, but this was definitely not him at his finest. He seemed bored, listless, and a little too pessimistic. And Katrina?? She was laughing at awkward moments, not engaging the interviewer...I mean, how hard was it to just say a few nice words about each other? Twilight zooone....

The interview is a bit boring but some of the questions are different which is good. I agree when Salman says that if the film is a flop, it is Salman and Aditya's fault but if it is a hit, it will only be because of Katrina. That is what everyone says which is unfortunate because we all know that ETT is all based on Salman and what he brings to the character. We already all know Kat doesn't have a big role. I hate how she doesn't deny this either. She literally is just feeding off his success.
And yes, what he said about chikni chameli is completely right. Doing the item songs just proved that she sucks at acting and is only good at dancing and now she has lost what made her different in the first place.
No matter what anyone says, Salman knows what works and doesn't work in the industry. That's why she has done this well so far-because of his advice. I see this time as her downfall.
