Just saw the episode. The pictures are misleading. If you get a chance to watch the video for the episode and get to know the context behind the pictures, you will see that it's actually adorable, not crass or vulgar what Salman did.

i remember salim khan (salman's dad) describing sal-kat love as pokiemon love. When they are apart they come together for warmth and when they are together they start to hurt/bite each other. This touchy feeling is for sometime as both are seen as star couples after few months they will start to bite each other. its all a show. katrina needs salman. thats if she can't have ranbir. who else is from such a ucha khandaan and is single? if she is with anyone but powerful A-lister (ie a Kapoor or maybe a roy) salman can ruin her career and have her ousted from bollywood forever. no one could save her. this is why Aishwarya intelligently married Abhishek, even though he is not nearly as successful as her. even if salman tried, he couldn't ruin her career now that she's a bachan.
