Salman Khan's 'Being Human Productions' will be backing a Canadian film called 'Dr Cabbie'. The film will be directed by Canadian director, Jean-François Pouliot and comprises of an interesting cast including Vinay Varmani, Adrianne Palicki, Kunal Nayyar (best known for his role as Rajesh Koothrappali in 'The Big Bang Theory' ), Rizwan Manji (of 'Outsourced fame') and Lilette Dubey. The story revolves around an unemployed Indian doctor who then takes on the job of a cab driver in Canada and turns his cab into a mobile clinic.

Salman Khan said, “Dr. Cabbie is the story of an Indian immigrant and it has an inherent universal appeal.”

Director Jean-Francois added, “This is a timeless story which is humorous and heart-warming. It blends social issues and the journey to find one’s place in the world”

Shooting for the film has already begun and the film is set for release later this year.

He is coproducer, vinay virmani's dad is another producer. There are actually three producer of this film. Actress Adrianee has done many TV serials. Vinay, Lilith Dubey shot many sceen in Delhi in the month of March. vinay virmani's was in Recently released David in India and it was also a flop. It is not a wise decision by Salman. Akshay kumar produced a Canadian film speedy Singh and it was a flop.

I hope this time around Salman will not give his "inputs" to change the movie into a more "mass appealing film."

Love how Being Human is branching out. First clothes then watches etc with cafes next.

Being Human first production Chillar Party was a really sweet and engaging film. This film too sounds interesting so will watch out for it.

Now the only complaint I have is for the charity organisation to penetrate into England as the charity could do wonders here.

cool choice...i m intrigued he backs up meaningful movies like chillar party n dis...chillar party made me cry n i didnt even knw dat tym it was a salman production....he is not all dat he seems is wat i feel from his choices of movies dat he is backing as a producer...i somehow feel he is smarter than wat he leads on one to believe.
